Well here i am today chatting on the hub, and all of a sudden me and some of the other people are talking about how trance is getting worse instead of better and i get this idea. basically i talked to bizz about it but since he is not working for the site but is just the operator of the hub he said for me that it's ok to post a topic. and maybe talk to swamper i tried talking to him on the hub but he wasn't there i guess. so here i am posting this... so i'll get to the point...
a tranceaddict.com newsletter. ok my idea at first for this was for this newsletter to just have weekly new releases of trance and maybe if possible other electronic genres of music. cuz people really like to see what's new. maybe we can have single track new releases and good album releases that are new. maybe new live sets. the whole deal. the only thing that i am not sure about is the people high up on tranceaddict.com and the hub have access to this kind of info. if they do well than we should do this newsletter. + i personally am good at graphics so if anyone is needed to design and compose the newsletter i can do it even if the people who get the release info don't want to or can't too well. i am even willing to pay 10 bucks or something for this... and i think others would chip in it too depending on the quality of information in the newsletter. i know i know we can find new release info on the forums themselves but it's not always reliable deffineetly and not all the new releases are talked about or anything + the newsletter would be very easy to use since all you would have to do is sign up and then weekly you'd get it or something. maybe after the first couple issues we can have some feedback and see what people liked disliked and other comments. well please read this everyone and vote and tell us why you think this is a good idea and you want it and vice versa, whether you'd pay if you can help out and everything basically. so if the ops the high up people want to talk to me pm me or e-mail (better to e-mail) me at illz55@hotmail.com i can deffinetly and would love to do some designing and composing for the newsletter i just would need the info to put in the newsletter from others cuz i am just a 14 year old guy living in ottawa, canada. lol. well write back everyone and comment and vote in the poll thank you. bye!

| haven't seen anything about an existing newsletter how would you sign up ? theres an e-mail service to get your name at tranceaddict.com it's on the front page but no newsletter at least i don't think there is... anyways come on people read the first post and reply please thnks. |

Fair enough, i think there used to be but maybe it stopped, i was jsut thinking from memory. |

How did you get on the hub? I thought you had to be an established member before you are given a login or whatever, and it looks as if you are still in training?
Anyway, the newsletter would be useless to me. I mean this forum finds me new tracks, and the good thing about it is, I dont have to search for a year and a day for good tracks, cuz I can just read other peoples reviews of them |

Its on Ok idea. i think yeah try it out but u will have news letters that wont appeal to every1.
Discuss it. i will keep reading this thread.
You are going to have to get someone who has good spelling and a lot of time to write these. You will also need to get a pannel or whatever to TAs to work on it, not just one or 2 ppl. |

I think anyone who PMs bizz gets in.
He deserves be in as he is still new to the boards and hasnt posted crap on "What do u guys use to download". It looks like he has taken the efford of reading before posting. :) |

| well i have really good vocabulary/spelling/grammar, so i can write it... i would just need info from others first then i would do a final draft and with my friend we can design this newsletter. me and him are very good at graphics design both 3d and 2d so don't worry about that kind of stuff/ |

| Think it would be a cool idea, but you have to have people that really want to do it and are totally into it. I mean sure its cool the first few times but after a while it gets to the point where its blah, i have to do the newsletter again. And when it comes to that point its not fun anymore and becomes "work" and the quality usually suffers. Id really like to see something like this, but sometimes its hard to get everything together. Id like a little newsletter type thing talking about new mixes and upcoming events and such layed out nicely, but i can find most of that on the board. Its pretty hard to put something together, that most people on the boards wont already have known about by the time its out. I like the idea i just see problems coming up and so on. Only reason i say this is becuase if tried similar things on afew boards and the lifespan has always been short. Anyway its a cool thought and id like to read afew articles, but just make sure you know what your getting into. |

| thanks for the comments everyone. once again i said me and my friend gavin can put this thing together when it comes to design and very fast and it'll look really sweet. but yes we need some people to write it maybe and others to get info. if anyone wants to do this write back in this threa.d |
