**CLOSED** thanx to totally cool ahlamalek, my stuff works now...

>JM<

and so continue my troubles with cd writing software. Roxio Eazy-CD actually worked the best...but i cant do cue files.

Nero burned a coaster or something alike when i tried burning using cue files.

Fireburner popped up with a message box saying it has "encountered a problem" while burning...program closed, although the cd burner seems to still, yes as i type, burn the cd...wierd.

and last buy not least, cdr-win 3.8 will not recognize my burner. 4.0 same . BUT wait! 3.9 will recognize AND burn, but the keygen or POS crack only makes me burn static.....(1x burning is not cool, and paying $40 is not cool either, and not having a keygen that works sucks the worst)

now, i prefer cdr-win over all of these programs, as i have overused it, and gotten sooo used to working with cdr-win.

and to top it all off...i have the ASPI drivers installed, and none of these programs were installed at the same time...in other words there shouldnt have been conflict between them.

ok,..i vented off....now i feel better.
if anybody wants to help out with my cdr-win 3.9 situation, please dont hold back :)

later,

when i'll be back from university, i'll hook you up with a proper crack/serial for cdrwin :P
BluNine
same thing happened to me, i got the CDRWIN 3.9a crack and burned my first cd full of...STATIC! YAY! so i scrapped that, and am now using nero. i havent had any problem using cue sheets with it, seems to be doing just fine:)
biznology
well i have Ez CD creator and it DOES NOT like it when Nero is trying to burn. so if you uninstall all other programs, nero is prolly the best. i still use CD creator and cdrwin the most tho...late|
ahlamalek
easy cd creator/roxio software do not coexist with any/all other burning software.

the best thing is to install cdrwin first with aspi drivers then install nero burning rom. you don't need anything else.

You're getting static because there seems to be a problem when burning MP3s via CUE files. Convert to WAV and make the CUE file the same extension/type and you're ready to go! I use Nero for burning CDs with CUE files because I don't have a crack for CDRWIN 3.9... Here's what my CUE for Sun Electric - 30.7.94 looks like:

TITLE "30.7.94"
PERFORMER "Sun Electric"
FILE "Sun Electric - 30.7.94.wav" WAVE
TRACK 01 AUDIO
TITLE "Castor & Pollux"
PERFORMER "Sun Electric"
INDEX 01 00:00:00
TRACK 02 AUDIO
TITLE "An Atom Of All Suns"
PERFORMER "Sun Electric"
INDEX 01 18:13:50
TRACK 03 AUDIO
TITLE "Northern Lights #5"
PERFORMER "Sun Electric"
INDEX 01 39:50:32

THERE YOU GO!

oh believe me, i'm converting to wave files. using cdex. i've had plenty of experience using cdr-win as well.

Malek, the correct keygen would be highly appreciated. it is for a 3.9a version, and i was only able to find one, which didnt work. do you know if this would have anything to do with my DMA settings for the drives???
