umm i honestly dont know what to say...

if you dont know anyone that sells you are liable to get ed someway. my best advice is talk to as many people as you can, esp those with the phones you are looking at. there are a lot of similar plans with a LOT of similar prices, but the details are what will get you. some plans have great services, others great features. shop around and try not to get lassoed into a long term deal|

Believe everything they tell you and sign your name to everything they put in front of you. Don't worry, thats just the 'procedure'.

ever since i moved and canceled my contract w/ cingular, i haven't reconnected my cell phone and i dont miss it at all. i hate cell phones...i hate how people can always get in touch with you or they can tell if it's on or off by how soon your voicemail picks up yada yada yada....

I have been selling mobile phones on and off for 3 years now. Its really hard to advise you on who to go with since service plans vary from market to market. I can drive 45 minutes from here and have no clue what is going on. Just shop around a bit and find the one with the best promotion for you.

All you have to do is understand a few things.

You are going to have to sign a contract. You will get a better deal with a 2 year, but I usually advise people to go with a 1 year.

You will have to pay an activation fee. Usually 25$ to 35$.

If you do lose or break your phone while its under contract. Its going to be a bit more expensive to replace then you originally paid for it.
