The Amazon says that MDR 7506 are closed-ear headphones and MDR V6 are over-ear headphones? Is it the same thing basically and they both provide good noise isolation? How good is noise isolated btw? |

Closed earphones and over-ear are not mutually exclusive features, they're both each. Good enough to dj with. |

FWIW I've used a lot of headphones over the years and the Sony MDR-7506 is by far my favorite of the headphones available for that price point. I have Sennheiser HD series headphones for DJ'ing and they're the favorite of some of my friends for production but imo the 7506's give a noticeably more accurate representation of the sound and I can hear more detail which is a big deal.
A lot of people seem to prefer Sennheiser and list the reasons why, I just don't agree with them. I had a short in the wiring of a pair of 7506's a couple years ago (I took them with me and the wear n tear eventually did them in). But I went out and got another pair of 7506's and I'd do the same again if something happened to my current pair because I can't find headphones that compare at this price-range. I've never used the V6 model so I can't speak on those. |
