I used to have one but one day it went brown and mushy and died.
Do you just leave it to catch it's own food or give it live flies or what? I had no idea and that's probably why it died |

ctahcing flies for it wud be better coz there isnt that many flies about in these civilised parts |

umm its a plant...it would prolly just die, or nothing would happen.

i thot there was a limited number of squeezing those things could pump out- maybe not tho. cant you get crickets or something at a pet store? i think it just needs meat tho, feed it steak! late| |

Venus Flytraps can only squeeze a certain number of times. What happens is that when the flytrap is open, the cells on its outside expand or something, causing the flytrap to close. When it wants to open, it expands the cells on its inside layer. If a Venus flytrap could open and close indefinitely, it would be ginormous!
Those sticky plants are better :p |

| you are supposed to dangle strands of ground beef in it's mouth to feed it. not very often though, or it will get fat. |

yeah you can feed them hamburger, some person in like my 3rd grade class(soooo long ago) brought one in and fed it some ground beef. those things are cool |
