i need some good, informative websites that talk about the rave scene and when it all started etc...not so much about the drugs (although some info on that and when drugs came into the picture are fine too), but more about the beginning of raves and stuff. if you know any good sites, please post...or just show off your knowledge and type away what you know;) helping someone do a paper on it. thanks!

the "rave" scene all started in 1989i was 7 at the time and was chilling out with my friends paul oakenfold paul van dyk and tiesto we were playing super mario bros....when all of a sudden i found a pill on the floor....so i divided it 4 ways and we all took some...all of a sudden a pair of turntables appeared and oakie started playing some classical music on it....now around 20 mins after we took the pills i started getting this sensation...i felt the most alive i had felt in 7 years... and the same happened to paul paul and tiesto...so we all started jumping up and down which caused the record to skip which remember was playing classical music...now the jumping up and down not only made the record skip but added bass...next thing i knew my basement was flooded with ppl with pacifiers in their mouth...i found more pills and began devouring them....and the next thing i knew i woke up the next day next to my nanny with a smoke in my mouth and the house trashed....and that is the origins of the "rave scene"
