Having said that, let's continue... Many people use this app, so I thought why not share this news (well it's news for me anyways :))
It seems as though "Sapphirecut" has filed a complaint against Verio, the soulseek server host. "Sapphirecut" complained about her/his/their files being shared, and that's why the servers have been down...
Oh well..

| That's a shame since I actually kinda like Sapphirecut and have PURCHASED records AFTER first listening to the mp3s. I suspect a lot of people are just like me and almost always DL the mp3 first before buying. This move by Sapphirecut practically ensures I won't buy anything from them. Artists, particularily electronic artists, should realize that at least partially it's through the spread of their mp3s that they gain fame, popularity, and ultimately commercial success. |
