it's not like he's incapable of injected an enjoyable track into his set from time to time, i've heard him do it many times before. but i have never heard him play a set, or even 30 minutes of a set, without mucking the flow horribly with some cheesy ass swill. you can almost set your watch to it. every person i know agrees he can't program a set and i've never heard anyone say 'man he killed it tonight!' i'm sorry i hate to shit on him like this, but when you drop the ball as hard as he does, it profoundly kills my desire to be in the same room...

feel free to make up your own mind about his music, but for me he's like 0 for 10 at making me want to be in the same room for more than 15 minutes...

man... that's a shame because he used to play some KILLER hard techno back in the day... ('97/'98) I LOVED his music then

+1

This is true. Before the dreadlocks he used to bang out hard techno/house w/Silk and Greg Sandler. Then came the Dreadlocks and it all went down hill

Lee Foss (Hot Natured, Culprit, Wolf+Lamb, LA)
http://www.myspace.com/leefoss
http://www.myspace.com/hotnatured
Lee Foss is a Los Angeles based dj and producer, and a recent transplant from Chicago. A vital part of L.A.’s vibrant and rapidly mutating techno scene, Lee is quickly becoming one of Americas most in demand djs. After after a 3 year stint in Ibiza in the beginning of the decade, Lee spent years as one of Chicago’s busiest and most forward thinking djs. His recent move to Los Angeles has paid dividends and helped to draw international attention to both his djing and production work. While in both Chicago and L.A. Lee has remained promoters and clubs first choice for booking with credible cutting edge artists, it’s taken the last years hard work and dedication working full time on music to take the step from local dj to artist. In addition to L.A.’s cutting edge Culprit rooftop parties at the Standard, and a newfound residency at Avalon Hollywood, Lee has spent 2009 crisscrossing the globe with a schedule that looks to only get busier.
With a slew of forthcoming solo releases and remixes and collaborations with Jamie Jones and Lee Curtiss, and the launch of the label Culprit with friends and collaborators Droog expectations are rising. With tracks already being supported from everyone from Laurent Garnier to Ewan Pearson to Ivan Smagghe and many more, Lee’s hard work is paying big dividends. Now with his Hot Natured production collaboration with Jones about to see the light of day, and a series of high profile Hot Natured parties in Miami, Detroit, and London, and a groundbreaking performance at the Crosstown Rebels party in Miami he seems poised to take the steps from buzzword to star. _
With Hot Natured “h.e.a.d.s. ep” (Culprit) and “Electric Feel Edits” (Wolf + Lamb) already garnering support and high praise from Damian Lazarus: “heads is such a cool track it heralds the new birth of a fresh west coast techno sound.”, Phillip Jung, (M.A.N.D.Y.) : “heads: sounds a bit like plastikman translated into 2009 with a nice house groove. For sure a killer on the dancefloor.”, Sebo K, Ryan Elliot, Martin Landsky, Dan Ghenacia, Kiki and many more, the word is out. With Lee’s solo album nearing completion for a fall release, and a Hot Natured album on the horizon for 2010, the fresh sound Lee is cultivating in Los Angeles shows no signs of slowing down.
