Posted by Tuis on Sep-02-2005 09:42:

Fun fun...I'll be there early Joe with the Lager. If I see the Xbox though, I'm walking out the door~

I was there, awesome time, Darude had an awesome stage presence, super friendly.

Got there when KT started playing Ghost w/ Jes, good trance part of the set from what I heard. Sucked the dance floor was so dead until midway through D:Fuse.

At one time Darude came down to the front of the stage and said something in my ear but I was completely deaf and had no idea what he said. I hope it wasn't something that was annoying him or anything. This will haunt me forever

oh my that dance floor looked DEAD.

i woulda been there dancing my ass off front and center regardless.

i had something come up and i couldn't make it. ok more like i'm still broke from my damn trip to denver two weekends ago. i HATE that i missed it. i love all 3 of those dj's work.

I don't have my other friend's camera which has another 20+ pictures.

I am not kidding that when I came in during KT's set there were _3_ people on the dance floor. It peaked about 30 minutes into Darude's set but around 3 the numbers started to wane and there were only 50 or so people left in the entire club.

The Cleveland scene is pathetic

I don't go there to watch other people dance, so there could be 1, 50, 100, would matter little to me.

That said, there I am in pic #2, black shirt, tan hat, actin the fool, though not nearly as bad as last time at Moda..wooo. Joe there behind me in the white shirt.

Great sets by all! Loved the drum pad action by D:Fuse. I thought, "damn, Darude better not drop Sandstorm, I've heard it to death" - but he did, though this version I liked =) Actually got there to hear KT's entire set this time, too. Was hoping to hear Owner of a Lonely Heart, but cant have everything!

Hey, Sandstorm is a classic and I was waiting for it all night.

I also don't care how many people there are as long as I had fun. Heck, I was 100% sober last night and I just ripped away with my horrible dance moves and very amateur glowsticking

D:Fuse's drum pad action wasn't my style. I'm not too much into Jungle. What I am into is the Kool Haus @ Labour of Love lineup. Are you going?

Do you still go to OSU? I'll be starting there as an undergrad freshman the 18th.

I agree. D:Fuse didn't do much for me personally. KT played a nice set; I arrived right before he played Andain, and it got better and better by the end. But then I kinda got bored during D:Fuses set. Darude played some really good tunes and some really dumb ones. I don't really know what to say. The show was alright, the crowd was so-so, etc. The Ferry/Oakey/KT show this summer was the highlight of the season though.

I'm planning on going up to the Bleu Room in Detroit to see Above and Beyond on the 16th and then on the 29th for Gabriel and Dresden. Let me know if any of you will be there.

yaaaah 000000 nice to meet you, hope you had fun KT was solid as always, and that was the first time i saw D:Fuse and i must say he was my highlight that night. I expected a lot out of Darude but he really didn't hit the spot as much as I expected. A fun night, but as you said imo they weren't lying when they said the oakey/ferry/kt show would be *the* show of the summer here in cleveland. the bar has been set for me lol... until next time~

oh, and speaking of next time, I'm mixing this friday (9/9) at abbasso lounge... if anyone is free please come on out and support the night, its free, NO COVER! more info in the thread here:

George Acosta set the bar for me in Cleveland. Even Ferry/Oakey couldn't touch that one.

how could i forget! that was a rather good night, i guess i was just "starstruck" since i got to see oakenfold and ferry for the first time. acosta definitely brought his A-game bah i have drill this weekend, and worse yet, its a "FTX" at the unit, which means we get to set up tents in the motor pool area, draw rifles, and spend our saturday night there... bah!

Posted by Tuis on Sep-09-2005 18:36:

My drill starts today so guess where I won't be to see one of my favorite DJs

Bummer I had to miss the KT / D:fuse / Darude show. Who knows when something will come close again. (Not that Cleveland is really 'close' to me... 3 hours from Dayton)

I've yet to be to an event. I can't wait....

Must be some kind of negative hillbilly energy from Kentucky and West Virginia sapping the will of OHTA's...
