Thanks lads. Will put it aside and revisit after 10 years.

Originally posted by djnitride I see improvement on the music theory side of things... don't hear anything out of key and while the melody is basic it works for the track. Very nice ![]() |
Maybe I would bring that melody back in the 2nd half just for a bit longer after you bring that that brassish sounding pad to give the track a bit more definition in that stretch. Not 100% on that though because if I was going to mix out of the track in a DJ set that would be a pretty good place to do it and would end the track on a great note.

I like this, mix wise and how it progresses, good work.
I can definitely hear the balearic vibe.
Here is a track I'm finishing, I would like to have some thoughts before I wrap it up.

Originally posted by SystematicX1 Evo, very cool shit man... I would say that the first 50 seconds or so has that Markus shultz (loving arms) kind of feel to it, on the break at the one minute mark I had this vision it was going to be a four on the floor kind of hit. Surprisingly it has a very cool housey vibe to it... Production sounds really good man. Would like to hear more of that. ------------------------------------------- This is a complete departure from my usual. For one, it's a slower 115 bpm. It isn't trap, yet has elements of some trap percussion work. This track has been very forgiving in the production end and hasn't caused alot of headaches..I'm very surprised at the flow this track is working. Anywho, this is a remix for Danny Darko's Hurricane.. Any feedback greatly appreciated as always! |
so here it is
thanks for the comments!
struggled big time with this one. started on wednesday, was gonna be more of a techno thumper
listened back on thursday, wasnt working so changed it into what you hear now, spent a couple of hours thursday deciding how to use the vocals, got a new bassline going then arranged it yesterday
Thanks everybody for the comments, I will rework some details and probably repost.

Originally posted by deegee This is lovely. Especially the reverb/delay you have dripping off the vocal, it's pristine and right up my alley. How did you achieve it? |
