its scary to think how much beautiful music i have her in this thread over the years, i dont know what some of you have done with them, a lot of them were works in progress, maybe some of them are still left on your hard drive or unfinished projects, maybe you released them but it just didn't break through because of the circus show that is edm, its like you can make a master piece nowadays and still not be recognized or shown any love for it , even though i know most of you are doing it for yourselves first. just keep going.

oh shit holmes, nice sounding phat dope deep kick you got there, everything is mixed down almost perfect except when the bass hits little to loud well for me, might not for others but yea overall nice sounding clip.

Reminds me of old twinkly prog a bit. Love the loop but no idea how I'd develop it into a full track.

i think this would be even greater if you added some vox or chopped up vocals as an effect or something, im getting an enigma vibe , other than that yeah i think you have all of the elements already

some ethereal vocals would be cool though

and thank you for the comment on my track !

you gotta move past that stage!

its a nice little loop, personally would love one of those big deep brooding basslines underneath, maybe some chord stabs here and there later, keep it simple

thanks @evo8 yeah i admit the percussion's were a bit rushed compared to everything else, i can make it better.

this is real good, listening to some tracks in a similar vain might be good for suggestions on where to take it.

sort of reminds me of d'julz - not what u thought

modulation and little changes go a long way thinking about tension and release

yeah, this isnt bad at the start, nice and techy, your keeping it simple enough which is good

1:30 - that lead arp is a little bit loud, kinda dominates a bit too much, your drums/bassline kinda lose a little bit of power as a result - remember, everything is relative in the mix...

Ah yes your are correct in that matter, Is it alright to let in some lows if your using higher notes?, that what I did with the arp and your right it is dominating, I thought I'd let in some warmth by doing it, ok so i'll cut more.

you have to take the mix as a whole, if by letting some lower frequencies on the arp makes it sound warmer, but throws the whole mix off well then thats not gonna work

Really cool vibe. Would love to get a bit more of a theme into there, but what you've got going is lovely.

Hey this one is fun! Mixwise it is great, really not much to say about it. Technically its a little rough. Where your synths are nice and create a bit of swing the drums do the opposite. The drumroll sounds so artificial it is painful. I'm missing transitions that feel properly executed/natural. The buildup doesn't come through, mostly because of the drumroll.

Nice.
