this is the second website of this kind im seeing this month
the first one is www.discobus.org its in russian though, so if you wanna read it, read it via babelfish
funny thing about the russian site, they didnt even bother to modify file/dir names, and all the names still have the group suffixes on them
and btw, im pretty sure that both those sites rely only on the scene, i wouldnt worry about them going around the forums downloading tracks by themselfes, they only have whats available in the scene

what dickheads!
ok, there host has been traced and someone i know phoned them and they got confirmation that they indeed are hosting- he.net
mails to - support@he.net, they want to 'get the ball rolling'
a bit late, youd think they would check what was on site before allowing such a potentially huge site with big traffic/bandwidth to be hosted,
anyway - email away to that address apparently, as they are waiting to investigate

no serious label would sign with them nor would any self respecting producer,
i believe each one of the tracks on their website has been released in the scene at one point or another.
i also dont believe what they wrote to you in that automatic email response.
why the hell would they invest all the time and effort they did unless the site is fully operational by now?
what a bunch of donkey ass munching knobends
this is fucking lame, i hope the site dies soon.
right for one, its blatant they they are using "the scene" to attain their tracks and not some1 personal off here. Some1 they know or one of them has scene access, and all they are doing is just putting them on there for people to pay for. its unbelievable wrong, illegal and immoral. i emailed them this morning before when mart showed me. told them to take the site offline or else they will end up in court, which they will because pretty much the top 10 labels in the uk have been told about this.
and the extent their stupidness actually extends to puttin up the POW cds that the releases group relesed for their bday mixed by their own members is on their for some ridiculous price, and also ASOT episodes are on there! fucking joke.
whether the guys who run it are russian or now they have an english address for it all and as such will be totally fucked over, especially considering there has been a big blow up in the press here today and yesterday of people being taken to court for downloading from kazza and such shit.
goodbye jetgroove ur going to jail
i'm gonna write an extensive e-mail later and am going to inform purple-eye entertainment personally, then trading standards and whoever after. keep repeatedly sending e-mails in if they are selling your tracks illegally.
What a bunch of fucking losers - I hope they go down big time
I've just emailed Rich from Solarstone (who contacted me about the 3rd earth remix) to let him know aswell.
fucking dirtmerchants. I feel bad for all the TA's who are having their tracks ripped off. I hope you guys get justice.
THOSE BASTARDS!!!.... THEY'RE NOT SELLING ANY OF MY TRACKS!!

Do I have to pay? Yes. Since this site is legal and the artists are compensated, you have to pay a small fee for each download. There are no subscription fees, bank commissions or other hidden costs. |
Shoot....all they hadda do was ask!
Man....none of mine there. AHHAHA At least they have taste! LOL
I woulda let 'em if they asked! I don't need the money or fame... just exposure! hehe

that's a shame...
there's a load of George Hales stuff on there as well......
Just email the hosting company threatening to sue them and they'll probably take it down within a week or two, especially if they get a whole bunch of complaints. It's usually easier to deal with the host which has no personal stake in whether or not the site remains on the web.
Yes. The host is responsible for illegal media being hosted. So emailing them will work.
I've sent an immediate removal email of my label's artists work from their site and also have informed the british phonographic industry's legal department. Shouldn't be long now.
However, although this is a sad shame of this site, I don't think they will be prosecuted if they haven't actually 'sold' any tracks. Although they will be forced to take down any mention of any unlicensed material.

The site is still up here. It was bound to happen, there will always be rats like that on this planet =(
