Gheyest shit I've ever seen...

I managed to record this guy. Yep... very ghey to say the least. I think I'll end up deleting that part of my footage.

It was a realy good night for tunes and meeting many TA's, etc. I managed to record A&B, Markus, Joee Conns and Christine Cruise. She was the funnest to record of all. I was allowed to record in her booth and managed to get some good footage. She had a camcorder similar to mine, but with a brighter spotlight. She was recording me as I recorded her and she looked like she was having a really good time behind the decks. The footage from Kool Haus was more difficult to record the DJ's as they were cloaked in the darkness of the DJ booth. Camcorder or not, you couldn't hardly see them at all unless you were right in the front row. The only time you could see them was when the lights happened to shine on them... which wasn't often. I remember at the back when I was with Kotsy and the rest, I was thinking that ANYONE could be behind the decks and you would never know it... LOL.

OK, I have a major complaint. What the fuck is with the $4.50 water now???? Like fuck, isn't 3000%+ markup on it enough? Also, they're still giving out change in toonies to try and force you to drop a $2 tip on a $6 beer. Bullshit !!!!!

try 8 dollars for a Rev..

there should actually be a law on how much you can markup the price!

that would be communist

They charge what people are willing to pay. if people wont pay it, the price will come down. Basic economics

you are right.. I did only buy one! also what is the deal with serving past 2am? I was at skybar a good ten minutes past last call and the girl was still serving drinks.

I don't really care how many laws guv has broken, I am sure they can afford to pay the fines.

Wrong... they will pay, especially under the circumstances. This isn't a place where you have options like, let's say, a store in a mall. There is nowhere else to go. Just like a game at the Dome where food and beverages are jacked up though the roof. Also, they rely on ppl's guard dropping as more alcohol is consumed. That's why they implement the $2 change trick. Or the fact that many are "partied up" and have no choice but to buy water after the last call.

you have a choice. Buy it or dont. Want water to be $1 a bottle? Then expect cover to double or talent to be crappy. It all has to get paid for somehow. Clubs arent charities!

As for $2 change. I agree with that but when that happens i just dont tip unless i have the change i want to give them. So often they end up screwing themselves! Again, if this trick didnt work (people didnt give them a twonie) they wouldnt do it! And if people are too drunk to realize what they are doing, perhaps they should consider the consequences of getting that drunk?

I love when people complain about things with the emphasis on others being the problem when in fact they have the ability to be personally responsible for their own actions.

When i party i never pay for overpriced water (i drink a lot before i go and wait till after for cheap water at a gas station). I never fall for the twonie trick. And i understand that prices at a club for drinks are higher than at home and plan accordingly.

Do you go to restaurants and complain about the price mark up on food you could buy for half price at the supermarket?

Having said that, you do really good work with your video footage at the club so next time you are thirsty, come see me

Digweed threw down a pretty bad ass set.

The vortex was in full effect, and it sounded great on the Koolhaus' upgraded sound system. Quite the noticeable difference in sound quality.

One of my favourite tunes that he dropped...

digweed dropping 2 pan-pot tracks & de a poco by pfirter <3

Love is in the air

Axwell was everything I hoped for and more. Couldn't last too long though, was definitely wicked hot in there.
Digweed KILLED it! Being near the home of Techno, when he started dropping that dirty hard bass everyone around me including myself just went nuts!! Was never a huge fan of his, but would have to say he played the best set of the evening.
For my first LOL it was fabulous; ended too soon though!!

Digweed blew my mind. As already stated, he started out slow, but with Digweed I expect a story to be told. He had me moving from beginning to end. Probably safe to say that this was one of my best Digweed experiences to date. Definitely had a few "woah" moments through that 2 1/2 hours of amazingness.

The guy knows how to do what he does and does it the best, and I couldn't have been more pleased.

That was $65 very well spent.

Please Toronto don't take two years to bring the man back again.

Wow Digweed was INCREDIBLE!
Christina Cruise was fun (and still incredible to look at) and I had a blast!
My only nitpick was the sheer amount of people but that's to be expected. Yay for free popcorn.
What a great time.

<3 I always thought the song sounded cheesy and predictable when I heard it from home speakers but it sounded pretty awesome live.

what's the deal with the sound on the skybar? did they implement new volume rules or is the system just shit? every year it seems like the volume is lower and lower in the morning and dekoze mentioned it was out of his hands. it also cut out for a few minutes at a time and all i could hear were the booth monitors.
