I'm with you on this. Sometimes you want to say something inane which isn't really thread worthy but will get a response. I think we should have the thread but not as a sticky and it won't be stuck at the top of the page all of the time but can still be used for little bits of codshit as necessary.

Posted by Fledz on Mar-02-2012 12:13:

Exactly, just don't bother sticking it. If you keep it closed, I'll start a new one. If you disagree, feel free to ban me.

Posted by Vivid Boy on Mar-02-2012 12:37:

This is what I mean by filters. Stu you need to put on your man pants and start closing threads and banning retarded members. I would totally be a mod and do this myself but after a self reflection of where I am in life.....no fuckin way am I gonna be a loser mod at the age of 30 of some gay trance music forum.

So what I'm getting from this, is that closing Random Talking has lessened the amount of inane posts on the forum. Sounds perfect to me.

If it ain't thread-worthy, don't fuckin' post it.

Solution.

Posted by Silky Johnson on Mar-02-2012 16:56:

We should call it something else though, like "The inane shit nobody cares about thread" or something. Lolol.

Which is ironic coming from Mr "I'll never have facebook" who became mr "I gave in and got facebook" to Mr "I'm not adding anybody from here on facebook, just to let you know because you obviously care so much"

Posted by SYSTEM-J on Mar-02-2012 17:46:

I don't think you understand the concept of irony.

Posted by Ian on Mar-02-2012 19:40:

You're from Yorkshire, I don't understand much that you people say, pet.

Posted by Lira on Mar-02-2012 21:13:

I was going to defend the Yorkshire accent and say it's actually easy to understand... then I found this:

This girl makes me think I'm aphasic

Posted by Ian on Mar-02-2012 21:24:

Just gives me an excuse to post this

You don't have to defend it, given I'm not from Yorkshire and don't have a Yorkshire accent. The locals around here seem to think I'm from Manchester, which is also wrong.

I meant to defend it because, as I said somewhere else, I could easily understand the guys from York I met in London, and our conversation flowed perfectly well.

And I remember it's not at all hard to understand your accent either. If I recall correctly, the most "exotic" thing about your English is that, for you, the words "put" and "putt" sound exactly the same... a trait you share with pretty much everyone that isn't a Southerner in England

Posted by Fledz on Mar-02-2012 22:40:

Well hypocrisy is rife in here, in particular because so many of you actually used the thread without a thought in the world and apparently now it's the devil.

Posted by Silky Johnson on Mar-02-2012 22:42:

I don't think it's the devil.

Posted by Sushipunk on Apr-19-2012 11:51:

So, due to the whining, I'm bumping this.

We already have an entire forum for this.
