it's also my favorite out of three.. I have misplaced some stabs notes and overdo them... I'll play with this one some more. Thanks for comment Evo!

Hi guys, long time no see

Feeling old school proggy.... Does the concept of the song work? Anything sticking out like a sore thumb? I need to clean up the reverb on the drums a bit I think.

Sounding good overall, concept and execution. Mixing wise, not sure if its because my MDR7506 are accentuating the highs on those hats too much, but they sound almost "prickly" to my ears, to the point it might bother me to listen to a longer version of the song.

I like it. Kick is sporadically clicky at the beginning and the end when playing solo. Very much like the pad. Arp is nice too.

Maybe some rhythm powerup at 2:10
At 2:55 i miss bassline, it sounds too empty for me there. Maybe some slightly faster variation of bassline at this point.

Great feedback, thanks

Uploaded an updated version that hopefully addresses some of this. Next up is mixing I think...

Like it, only thing I might suggest would be opening it up a little at some point in the song for contrast, although I do like the progression you got going already.

i think maybe at this stage you might be overcomplicating things? i remember your older tracks were just simpler elements but grooved really well, just my 2c

yeah, i kinda like this, i like the sound of the midrange are you boosting there or something tricky?

it could do with a nice sub bassline undercurrent, just something incidental and punchy, that still maintains the groove ...imo

This one caught my ear, like the song concept and good mixing on the bottom end of the track. Only suggestion would be maybe to do some percussion variation with the cymbal rides towards the end, and maybe bring out the percussion high-mids/highs more in the mix when you have all the other elements going after the breakdown.. Could easily hear this in a Drumcode set.

Also, how is hearthis.at? Better than Soundcloud?

Did alot more mixing on Global Underground. Tried to add some sustian to the bass low end without muddying up the mix. Did a sizeable EQ boost on the sub bass for the bass sound, and put an multiband envelope shaper on it as well to add a bit more sustain.

I plan on leveling out the alternative open high hat velocity that happens twice in the track also, but don't have time to get it right now.

I like the delay on that chord and the bass sound is interesting. However, I think there may be a little too much tempo dissonance. Don't quantize it to death of course, but maybe tame it in a little?

I think this track deserves a better bassline, i love the rest of it but its not grooving enough, even just some incidental midbass to get the groove going
