she says if we did 1 color (flat black) t-shirt, it be $10 a shirt. i'm waiting for the reply on the ringers & 3/4 shirts.

Hey guys, have fun tomorrow night! Sorry I cant be there... Ill be back on Saturday!

That graphic on a black 3/4 shirt would look sweet. Get those by Infusion

Now that I think about it, how comfortable would a 3/4 shirt be to dance in? Maybe it would be better on a simple black t-shirt?

Glow in the dark of course.

Monkey Dancer 2

I kinda like that black sleeve / grey body 3/4 shirt. Do they have only 100% cotton or do they have 50/50 cotton/polyester blend in that same shirt? The 50/50 wont shrink as much and will breathe a lot more not making you so fuckin hot when your bustin a move. $10 damn that sounds good to me one color would probably be best since thats the way I had them designed so they'd be easier/cheaper to print.

See you all tonight!

Ok, I don't want to hear anything about locomotives, steam engines, or any other form or railroad transportation. Shit happens, and I'm glad this one did - it made the set unique and made my night different. Before el accidento, he was building up a slow, progressive-trancey hands-in-the-air-until-they-fall set. Then to get the crowd back he threw the pleasers like Fire, which I did not complain about.

And then he performed an absolute beauty of an electro-ridden, Ferry-style set. Surprise of the night for me was G-Spott - Human Rights. What a killer. There were a few other electroish tracks I could not ID but I really loved. Punk was an awesome experience, and the way he brought in Rock Your Body was very cool. Towards the end of the night it sounded like the volume was too loud and the sound was getting distorted. I'm not sure if I heard Carte Blanche or not because of that reason.

Nice meeting all of you. Sorry about the ticket fiasco Joe. I got to the afterparty at exactly 4 AM and proceeded to fall asleep on the comfy foutons until 4:45, when my friends dragged me out because KT hadn't shown up yet.

Overall a very sweet night.

Ferry Kicked ass last night! Im gonna agree with ditto's review for the most part Fire I was expecting Punk was NUTS and Rock Your Body made my night. Really didnt expect to hear them. Ive seen Ferry a couple times and last night by far was the best I've seen from him. If anyone finds a release of that set anywhere PLEASE let me know. Hope everyone had fun and I wish i could have met u all.

Oh, I knew Fire would be played, but he had to pull it out to save his ass instead of building up to it. Cheap move, but I understand and I still enjoyed it. I also knew Punk and Rock Your Body would get played. And pretty much all the other classic Ferry-ish tracks he drops in his sets. Predictable set on that aspect, new and awesome on the dirty electro, techier stuff he threw in. Awesome.

That set will never see the internet .

So, dare I say Ferry is now my favorite solo superstar DJ? I dare, I dare .

Wow! Nice to meet those of you I saw last night. Been a looooooong time since I partay'd! I just kept walking around and asking people if they were TA's and some people looked really scared and were like what the fuck is that ...and a few I managed to find....dittoalex, jamiii, yanni, michael (ohio_shows) and a few others.... KT it was nice to finally see you live, thats one more gone off my to do list and I must say I rather enjoyed myself. It was also the first time I saw Ferry live, while he was very good it sounded like he was having issues with the sound or was making some mistakes? But then again, my ears may have been playin tricks on me. Who knows!

Woah - great show, and nice to finally meet some people here. Enjoyed Ferry much more tonight than last summer... Oakenfold's constant high-energy set was partly to blame for that though (not that I didn't like it).

If these past few months are what Metropolis is gonnna be like this year, I'm more excited about Cleve. nightlife than I've been for a looong time!

I think I missed out identifying the other TA'ers other than you, Tuis, and Jam-III.

Ferry was taking it into the red late into his set. Crazy distortion because of that. I guess he wanted more energy out of the crowd, but seems like most people were getting tired .

Great set indeed, but I just can't handle standing in front of those stacks too long, so I took to wandering about to the VIP lounge and the upper decks. I walked back out of the VIP as Rock Your Body was hitting its peak. As for the sudden stop...well, I heard the CD start skipping early and he was doing his best to try to get around it but, hey, shit happens. Dunno if he actually launched the CD or if I fell for a fakeout...the crowd was merciful and encouraging despite the mishap.

Afterparty was a letdown for me, since all my buds were unable to get in the door because, unknown to us (not noted on the flyer), it was a 21+ only affair with a Cleveland PD special duty at the door. I did get to run into a couple familiar faces ~5am (Joe - Jeff and Liz say "hi"). I was dead tired and sick of the smoke sometime after six...despite a great KT set, the smoke was just killing me...I swear EVERYONE was lighting up.

When did KT come on at the afterparty?

Posted by Tuis on Mar-13-2006 08:49:

Not sure...looks like you *just* missed him though. I remember seeing you seated, too.

Born and lived there first 10 years of my life. Since then have not associated with the culture here. I only have one Romanian friend and don't speak it. When I'm not sober and staggering around I have been known to be uh... fluent in though. Way to go subconciousness!
