How's it going? Well, I will be in Amsterdam in about a week and a half. I really want to see Mark-Norman on the 26th of March. On their website it says that they will be in Amsterdam at Xtra Large on that date. What kind of club is Xtra Large (meaning, is it nice, small or big, good or bad sound, good or bad vibe, etc.), and will I have to buy tickets in advance or can I buy them at the door? If I do have to buy tickets in advance, can I buy them online, or will I have to purchase them when I get to Amsterdam (the 23rd of March)?
I felt it was appropriate to post here and not the "Ask all your questions about Holland Here" thread, because this is a specific question (I'm not asking what is there to do in Holland?), not a generalized one. Thanks for all the help.

xtra large is a night at kingdom club, very nice venue, great crowd, expensive drinks heh. i think you can just buy your ticket at the door, shouldnt be a problem. the club is pretty close to the central station, but i'd cab it there, its 5 euro or something, not very much.
have fun
btw, regular cover to the club is 15 euro, or at least it was a year ago. dont think it'd be much more than that for this event, if not the same
I have a question about ticketbox.nl. When you get to the part of selecting your payment option it want let you do it. Is it usually like this or is the site broke today? thanks
EDIT: Works now, but you had to select your countries bank first, which is after you select the credit card - how illogical.
Dance Valley guide
Does anyone have a link to one?
The specific questions that I have are:
1) Accomodations: Do people camp there or do they stay in Amsterdamn?
2) Tickets: Where can I buy them?
Thanks

I have a train ticket from the central station back home ... but I have to be at the station at 07:00 ...
the problem is also, that busses will drive to the central station, but if the event has not ended, the busses wont drive very regularly, or do they ???

Originally posted by Ziggy That sounds cool. Where and when is usualy the afterparty? Where is the biggest change that I could catch Armin that night? |

Originally posted by Matthijs Afterparty is in Rotterdam as well, in a place called 'Katendrecht' near the portarea, and starts immediately after the parade. Line-up for both the parade and the afterparty is still unknown. Last year Armin didn't participate in any of them, but he did have his own after-afterparty on the Oceandiva that night with other Armada DJ's. So hopefully they will organise something like that again this year. |

Originally posted by Ziggy As you said, Armin didn't participate in the parade last year, but I think he had participated in that parade in the past before. Am I correct? |

Originally posted by Ziggy O, so this is like a continuation of the party, basicly there are stages instead of moving trucks? Is that what it is? |

Originally posted by Matthijs A lot of people don't stay till the end, so it's very likely that you can catch a bus even though the party isn't over yet. If I were you I wouldn't worry about this too much. |
Amsterdam rules.
