Couple of things to consider Gordan, one is this buzzing noise almost from the beginning which is unnecessary (in my opinion), second is your vocal and I agree should be change to something more suitable for this type of vibe - my $0.02

Thanks for listening Darek, yeah maybe i should get rid of that buzz on bass. I still kinda like the vocal, i'll check it again in the morning.

But overall quality of your WIP is much more stable and dynamic - it is getting better and better

Very early WIP No Mix (and clipping) but feel with some layering this could be cool (especially with the lead and stabs). Would for sure be my most "EDM" sounding track to date.
Thoughts...to much cheese? lol

Played your wip in a room where my wife was sitting next to me. When she realised that this wasn't my song she said - oh, thanks God. But if it was my track she would kept her mouth quiet so she wouldn't hurt my feelings. That's why i like to drop tracks here

Imho you need more lowend in your production, and less bright noisy leads and crispy stuff. Or this stuff needs a strong backup because otherwise whole mix sounds just crisp and half empty. Some of your more quiet songs are very nice.

LOL!! Yea, it isn't my usual..lol But needless it's young. It's the hook that kept me rolling it. Bottom end is no problem which I usually start off with,however obviously on this one it has yet to be added.

I usually turn my monitors down a bit before launching one of your tracks so I got a surprise here lol, sounds like you just rendered it lower?

cool little track reminds me of the early 90s stuff with that lead synth! really clean mixing

emptiness (space) in mixes not necessarily a bad thing

Could I get some feedback on this kick/bass/mix. I've switched mixing environments last month and having trouble getting what I want.

Levels sounds good on my end Mac, clean and well balanced so far - only one suggestion for you is to spreed your drums wide a bit for full listening effect as right now you only doing it to pad/s.

I'll fool around with that. There is some weird ass distortion happening in my mixer, dont really know whats up tbh.

probably needs some groove, there is also some piercing sibilance but do like it though.

One more. Is bass too irritating?

not really but I noticed you usually have some irritating harsh highs somewhere(like that crash here) maybe your speakers/headphones have high end recessed or something?

there might be a track here somewhere under the shitty thumpy kick, non existant low end, shitty percs and un-eqed mid synth line.

I did a thing, I think the intro for a JP-8000 demo. All the synths are JP-8000. This is the first mix where I attempted to tune the percussion to the root of the song, D#.

Dig this...Not sure about the arp/rolling bass tone as it seems to mid range and not enough low end. Course you could compress that in with your kick to make it more rounded.
Love the higher frequency chimes.
Not sure if this is a pre mix or not but the kick is clipping for sure. Seems like the whole percussion end needs some attention.
Otherwise, sounding tight so far.
FYI, Sunny lurks around here, he could probably be a better judge =OP

Progressing with this track,gave it some depth and did a little arrangement on the composition. Still working it but seems like it is coming along. Need to work on my mid to outro parts

Bleh, probably can't hear that well in my headphones. It shouldn't be clipping but could definitely be over compressed.
