Sup people, I wanted to know more about the scene out in Ohio. I was born and raised in Long Island, NY, i've been in Guatemala City, Central America for the last couple of months. Im moving to the Athens/Chillicothe area with my girl because we're going to Ohio University (Athens) im gonna study Music Production there hopefully. I was taking a look at the past and future events and I saw a lot of trance, house and drum and bass. Im into mostly into techno, minimal, some electro, trance (saw Ferry Corsten a month ago), house, and drum and bass. Im also a techno/minimal producer/dj. Im gonna produce a song (trance or electro) with trance producer Bebop ( www.myspace.com/djb3b0p ) like in 2 weeks. To all those coming to CHUNK-

The time is currently 6:03am, I cannot sleep because of excitment and stress. We have sold over 500 pre-sale tickets on line and counting as of right now. I am sure we have sold at least around 100 or so at Poo-Bas. This event is going to be stacked!!!!!

GET READY PEOPLE! In my on-line ticket acct. I viewed the areas in which the ticket buyers are located and we have:

He has never disappointed when he's spun in Ohio. That was friggin awesome - pics to follow when I get home later today.

I had a good pic set up with George himself, but some guy with a videocamera light ruined it =( Oh well...maybe next time.

Did anybody else think baby anne really sucked? I never thought she was so stuck up either, everytime somebody would try to take a pic of her she would put her head down. Then after she was done spinning, some guy wanted to take a pic with her, and she pretty much just ignored him and her friend said "she doesn't take pictures" or something to that extent. LOL

I had a pic with George himself but the flash was off and some dork with a video camera headlight combined to ruin it and I didnt have the heart to ask for a second shot...figure there will be another time

Also have a cool 15MB movie of some guy they pulled up on stage to show off some spiffy lightsticking moves during Baby Anne's set. I have no place to host it but will do so over AIM to anyone interested.

As for Baby Anne's set, I just didn't feel the energy - anytime she did acknowledge the crowd, it seemed halfhearted at best. George, OTOH, plays the crowd like no other.

well, i'm off once again for army training, i'll be gone the rest of august down in ft lee, va... chunk was a very much needed goin away present, cheers to everyone who made that happen, especially us OHTA's! have fun out and about in ohio everyone! you think the heat is bad here, i just checked the forcast for ft lee tomorrow the high is 98... and i'll be in my comfortable long sleeved / long pants black and green uniform.. aweeeesome

when i get back i'm really gunna get on making those OHTA shirts that were discussed a bunch of pages ago, i really like that design with OHTA in the turntables. if anyone wants some we'll talk in a few weeks. see ya later!

I'd guesstimate it 2.5 hours depending on traffic en route and your driving habits.
