Just got back now ... Wighnomy Brothers set pretty interesting most fucked up set I have heard so far this year ... some tunes were just like wtf OH YAH a couple tunes you'd get 1/2 vocals and 1/2 beats on and off complicated too dance to... best part of the guys reminded me of "Silent Bob"

Posted by samdafroman on Jun-04-2007 03:07:

Maher and I went to our 1st pik nik of the season yesterday, a last minute thing. Nice seeing some familiar faces Viktorrrrrrrr thanks for the rhum, it did me good. The music was weird, good at times, 7/10 for music overall for me. I love the ambiance, the people were all way too fkd for my liking but, hey, it's pik nik and the last day of mutek so ya, to be expected. What else? I can't wait to see Desyn play that event...His music during the daytime will be perfect and hopefully attract a somewhat different crowd...Yay Pik Nik

For some reason his mixing skills didn't really matter to me, or almost anyone I knew who was there. The music was so good and it all fit the vibe so well, for me anyways, that regardless of his mixing skills, I still think that was a really good set, and is defintely one I'll remember.

holy fucking run on

I do however agree on chic miniature- fucking awesome set, really nice guys too.

Ok i went to both saturday and sunday Piknic events and sundays was way better (music wise and vibe wise). The artist that impressed me the most was Heartthrob. He played this one track with a solid boomy bassline and i need to find it. Does anyone by any chance have a downloadable version of the recorded set? I even tried to ask the security guy to get his attention but he didnt want .

Another artist that i enjoyed was Chic Miniature!

This weekend was mental for me, and i am definitly going to be visiting piknic a lot this summer.

Nice seeing all u mofos

it was around 1h30pm,the event was starting at 1pm, normaly any dj's will play in front of the same number of people. The second video you can see there's more people,it's probably 30mins-1h after the first video.

The opening dj have always the less people when the day begin!
But he had lot's of people by after, did a amazing set!
I wanted him playing later in the day ,to be full prepare to party, but I really enjoyed to hear him anyways!

I want to see Nathan Fake. I love his productions.

I wish they booked John La Fonda
