I don't condone that shit. Theres is proper use of medicine and theres improper. In my eyes you're practicing improper use of modern medicine for your own selfish 'fucked in the head' reasons.

I have gender identity disorder, so if that's "fucked up" then I am quite fucked up. And the accepted, prescribed, clinical treatment for that is often HRT.

Good thing for society that there are real doctors know what "modern medicine" is, and not you, LOL.

You're definitely giving Slychology a run for its money here.

They should have warnings on labels that tells consumers what Vivid Boy does and does not condone. You'd really be doing a service to all of us here with your infinite knowledge and true moral compass.

Right I'm not doubting cultural differences with it. I'm just saying in your case, you're using hormone therapy and/or surgeries for your transition. For me, that would be akin to using anabolic steroids (which is an unnatural transformation of ones body), or having surgery to get calf implants or something like that. Imo, none of that is wrong. We can do whatever we want to our bodies, because they are our bodies. All I'm saying is that taking Creatine to help build muscle is not the same as going through hormone therapy to help transition from man to woman or woman to man.

Those same more primitive groups also probably wouldn't have access to hormone therapy or modern surgery either. That doesn't mean it's the same thing.

Again, I'd just like to point out that I have absolutely no problem with transgender people, and everybody has a right to do whatever they please with their bodies. I just thought your example wasn't very affective to support your argument (even though you shouldn't need to make any arguments in the first place).

Just because I would never do that to myself, and because I've never felt the way you do, doesn't make it wrong. It's kind of like Tom Cruise saying that depression is a myth just because he doesn't believe in it.

Steroids exist and can be used for all sorts of great things in injury and recovery. On the other side of the spectrum, it can also be used to make you look like Juggernaut from Xmen. Unfortunately, though in some societies it is legal to do so and you can buy it over the counter. It is marketed towards the weightlifters just so a few pharmaceutical companies can make some extra dough off of the weightlifting market. But it doesn't make it right.

I don't see how gender reassignment is any different than wanting to correct something like depression. All you're doing is trying to correct something that other people were born with not having to think about. It just happens that in the case of changing your gender there are more drastic and readily visible measures required to address your situation. Do your thing Nef, what you're doing takes guts

but in all honesty my hair doesnt bug me. Sure, it was cool when i had my long locks but what wasnt cool was all the time you had to put into managing it. Now that I got a shaved head I shower and go!
