Depends on what you're looking for. Check http://partyflock.nl/party regularly (as it is updated daily) for a near-complete overview of parties throughout Holland.

Thanks!

hello all, i am traveling to amsterdam this weekend. woohoo! i've been to amsterdam before, but am looking for some restaurant recommendations from locals. some people in my group are interested in indonesian food, but i don't remember kantjil being that impressive. we just don't want to get stuck eating at the tourist trap places. thanks for any help!

Whats the difference between Eindhoven and Asten-Eindhoven?

Posted by BaRTeZ on May-03-2007 17:46:

Asten is a small town near Eindhoven

Posted by solex999 on May-03-2007 18:00:

Thanks BaRTeZ.

Is Eindhoven airport closer to Eindhoven, or Asten-Eindhoven?

Yes, Breda heeft maar n station dus dat is simpel. Daarna is het idd zo'n 15 minuten lopen.

hey just a quick question, i know amsterdam is a huge tourist area, but is there some areas IN amsterdam that are less tourist filled? mostly im trying to find nice pubs that arent full of americans

even though im going with one hehe

Posted by basvh on May-09-2007 20:23:

the whole city centre of amsterdam is more or less a tourist place. Tourist you will mostly find are UK, japanese and lately i hear a lot of spanish/italian in the city.

Anyway, just walk around the main nightlifesquares, or go to the Pijp or the Jordaan. More dutch oriented pubs are there.

why does everyone have something against americans. Last time i was in holland everyone thought i was canadian for some reason. We are not all that bad.

Posted by Frenkieee on May-12-2007 11:45:

For me, Americans and Canadians are all the same.

Why do you think that?

Overall I'd say there's a noticeable between American's and Canadians. But then again...I'm Canadian.
