Overall I'd say there's a noticeable between American's and Canadians. But then again...I'm Canadian.

Canadians > Americans...

At least half of America is fucking retarded.

I think it heavily depends on where you go.. The Americans I've met last November weren't nearly as thick as I expected.

I didn't visit the South, though

Can't say anything about the Canadians until after this summer

Alright, not all the same. Americans and Canadians are like Dutch and Flemish people

Just ignore me, that's easier.

Posted by basvh on May-15-2007 17:21:

The Americans I met during my USA trip were all very very friendly and polite. Ok some were a bit retarded but here in the Netherlands we have also loads of retarded people. I really enjoyed being there in the US of A and would love to come back to visit places like NY, San Francisco, Miami and have a little roadtrip again.By the way I still have sweet dreams of that huge medium-rear steak I ate in downtown Dallas.

I'm thinking about checkin out Bodzin on the 26th (of may) in Amsterdam, @ Sugar Factory.

Just a few quick questions:
Sugar Factory an ok Place? Is it big or small? What are bezoekers and why are there 23 of them (according to party flock)?

Flying to Vancouver, we'll stay there for two days, then go on a 3 week tour through some national parks (Banff, Jasper) then through to Prince Rupert, where we will take the boat to Vancouver Island, and finally back to Vancouver and back home. Should be good.

Bezoekers = visitors, meaning that 23 members of that site (partyflock) indicated they'll be at the party. Doesn't say too much about the total amount of visitors, though. Can't tell you anything about the venue either, sorry.

Hey buddy

Your Dutch is improving, only you need to work on the build up of the sentences

Nederlands is niet zo makkelijk.
Nog 8-9 maanden wachten en dan ga ik eindelijk verhuizen naar Ft Lauderdale.
Did you understand that

Ik zeg Hallo terug, see you next year

It's in Breda, not in Amsterdam. Plus, it closed down last year.

I went to Cineac with some friends on my visit to Amsterdam.
It was very good actually. More like a dim sum. The food was incredible, the service was absolutely amazing and it was a great atmosphere. I only went there to eat though. I didn't stay for the nightlife to begin at 10pm. We had Extrema to rest up for the night before going to the restaurant.
I would highly recommend it to anyone and I would most definately go back on my next visit to Holland.

As for Tiesto being ther often, no.. he is hardly there at all from what I heard.

Posted before I could

I went with magikb to Cineac...and I think the consensus between all of our friends was that it was fantastic. It was a little pricey...but definitely worth it (you pay for what you get). Not only was the atmosphere and decor amazing, but the service was impecible. Oh ya, and the food wasn't so bad (haha j/k it was awesome).

150% recommend giving it a try.

i have not had the time to study at all... my Dutch that is.

I have everything ready, but the jobs im having are really messing up my timing.

Any known parties (festivals/massives) going on after New Year's? just curious if there was news in advance. It would def affect when I decide to travel to Amsterdam. Right now tentative dates are December 5-10th but if there is a massive occuring in January I may decide to go after the New Year.

Also I seem to recall reading that Tiesto owns a vinyl store with several of the producers on his label (i hope im not mistaken about this!). Is this located in Amsterdam/The Netherlands at all? Does Armin live in Amsterdam also? That is what I heard...but I'm not 100% certain...

i will read this thread thoroughly during the weekend (im at work right now so no time) any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you much!

Cheers to everyone <3

Why do you want to know if armin lives in Amsterdam?? Want to stalk him at the front of his door? And yes there are vinyl stores in amsterda, only the one you are looking for is located somewhere else in the netherland although i'm not sure if it still exist.

Posted by basvh on Sep-06-2007 20:28:

Tiesto shop (located in a town called breda) closed down some months ago. The shop wasn't that special IMO. It was just a regular recordshop, not a tiesto museum or anything.

In december the only massive party that is confirmed is Fabulous.
Innercity still isn't 100% confirmed
Trance Energy will probaly be february/march 2008

It depends on your personal taste but my advise is come to holland in the summer. Thats the time with the best parties and festivals.
