The Burgerking, McDonalds or Kentucky Fried Chicken are all near the Asta if U want to eat very cheap

Or a few shoarma stores, also cheap.

Thanks for the site, its very good!!

Is it just me or is there LOTS of Hardcore / Hardstyle events on??

Posted by basvh on Nov-05-2004 11:22:

Hardcore en Hardstyl are the most populair EDM genres in Holland nowadays

Posted by nwopper on Nov-05-2004 11:28:

And don't forget 80% of the partyflockmembers are hardcorefans, if you start talking about trance they flame your ass off!

my fiancee and i are heading over to Europe for a couple of weeks. In early January, what are the best clubs to go to for hard trance and uplifting trance ? we are staying in Amsterdam for a couple of days, so would really like to check out some the club scene there and see how different it is to back home here in Melbourne, Australia.

cheers.

I don't know if there's already much news on the line-ups for January, but you could keep an eye on the party agenda at http://party.snt.utwente.nl/flock/SECTION/party.html . A good club for trance (there aren't that many left in Holland though) is XL in Amsterdam. Quite possibly, DjRV could sort you out with more details on lineups, as he spins there himself sometimes.

I believe The Matrixx in Nijmegen also has some acceptable trance line-ups every now and then, check www.matrixx.nl . Keep in mind that Nijmegen is not too close to Amsterdam, though.

Also, you should keep in mind that January does not often see too many good line-ups, it's one of the most quiet months in partyland

Another option might be a club called 'celebration studios', but you will have to travel to The Hague for that one. At least they have trance parties at quite a regular basis. Check http://www.celebration-studios.com/ and http://www.umania.nl/ for more info.

Posted by GruVer on Nov-15-2004 20:19:

thanks for the info Matthijs and Basd, very much appreciated.

looking at alot of things throughout Europe at this time seems to be pretty quiet, but looking forward to being over there during the winter and getting away for a break from work.

how does the atmosphere compare between an event like dance valley and innercity? would innercity attract a markedly more trendy and mainstream crowd whereas dance valley is more of a mix? going to the netherlands/europe for the first time @ innercity.

Jep, your right. Innercity nowadays attracts more 'trendy' people who visit a danceevent for the first time. That rate is usually pretty high at ID&T events. So not THAT much atmosphere.... but thats my humble opinion. Anyhow, you cant really compare it with Dancevalely.

Hi there!

Someone posted a special of a return ticket at weekend for 23 Euro in NL... but where can I read informations about it??

On www.ns.nl there is no Info.... or my dutch is so worst......

Thanks a lot!
Greetings

Posted by GruVer on Nov-16-2004 19:57:

that happens here in australia too at some of the events. quite a few first timers, and basically they go there just so they can have vitamins if you know what i mean, not for the music and the interaction of meeting new people.

merely an opinion. i've always love to dance and have loved the music and the rest seems to follow
