The style of this tracklist is focused on long mixes (like at least 1 min to 2 min 'in the mix'), and mashups. It is clearly banging and full of stomping electro that only builds as the tracks progress. Feedback from my peers has been good...whats yours? I also spin uplifting, epic, electro house and the classics...this is just one style of trance that I really love and I thought I would make a Best Of and cut it to CD. If you want to give it a listen, you must tell me how to do so cause I am new to posting on forums...

For DJ's with experience...the most challenging part of this mix was coming out of CHILDREN with MIND CONTROL. After Children comes out of its beatless melody I throw in Mind Control from its first beat matching the ensuing phrase beat of Children. And by throw the beat in I mean vinyl style, no tapping cue here. You cant tell that I threw it in when you hear the mix, but it was quite a feat for me and a challenge to time it perfectly. I cant do this everytime as I need much more practice. But can you do this all the time or whenever you feel like it? That is throwing in a LIVE beat vinyl stlye and matching it perfectly by the the time 1 beat has passed. Cause if you can I have the worlds respect for your skill, it is extremely hard...IMO.

Okay...so just to let you all know, this is the 2nd mix of a monthly I'm doing in 2008 titled "Searching Beyond The Horizon". This is v.2.0. I used to spin for quite a long time in the Los Angeles rave scene and have worked in every aspect of electronic music festivals all the way from the little promoter, to full on production at a huge scale (Sports Arena, L.A. Coliseum, Orange Show Fairgrounds, etc)...all the way to the DJ.
