Power tripping?! The most I did was close a couple of threads (and even gave users the opportunity to save the last thread one hour before the time I had set to close it, that's how much of a tyrant I am around here) mostly because personal information had been published or was about to be. Yeah, I abuse my powers as a mod politely telling people to behave and locking the occasional thread, I'm sure I can become a nazi in Canada!

I even tried to make explicit the rules we moderators abide by (and gave users a chance to voice all their opinions should they have one!), as it was an idea we had for more than a year now, and gave up on it because people thought that not seeing the rules was akin to not having them enforced here. The decision to publish the rules coincided with my new status as a moderator because of the context in which it all happened.

I don't really care about anything else you said, but I've always been courteous to you when you came for advice, carefully listened to all of your problems and rants so I could help you out with more than just empty words, and even when I thought you crossed the line, I slept on it so I didn't act out of any stupid impulse, asked a few people I trusted if I was overreacting, and only then did I block you on Facebook. Even then, I made sure you knew why I did it, stated all my reasons in clear English, and made sure you could reply to me and tell me what your side of the story was.

If you believe being friendly to you means not ever disagreeing with you, you don't know what friendship and disagreements are.
