I randomly caught Before Sunset (the sequel) and loved it. I then went back and saw the original, Before Sunrise and loved it just as much. I hear they're doing a third called Before Midnight.
The same day that I saw Before Sunset, I saw The Intouchables on Jay's recommendation and very much enjoyed it. I highly suggest it.
I can't believe I haven't seen Before Midnight yet
checking the dates - by that I meant, "where/when did you catch it already?" release date is late may, it seems
wtf before midnight isnt out yet is it? loved the two before and for once this is a movie i can easily take my girlfriend to without that look of confusion on her face as i am attempting to explain to her why godard on purpose was trying to make his movie near un watchable because of the najavo subtitles.
Oh I didn't realize y'alls were talking about the new one already haha. Really looking forward to it, I loved the first two.

I just saw "Seven Psychopaths".
Colin Ferrel, Sam Rockwell & Christopher Walken performed excellent as always, and I loved the plot/premise!
Highly recommended if you're looking for a fun action/comedy flick

Has anyone seen Room 237?
I'm thinking of watching it but haven't made up my mind yet.
To be honest, I was never aware of any secret meanings behind the movie.
I've just watched Cloud Atlas. It's not for everyone and it requires some patience, but I thought it was a great film.
Definitely worth a watch.

Watched room 237 last night and I'm pretty disappointed. Throughout the entire movie I kept repeating WTF, to the point where I was expecting the movie to suddenly stop and display a message saying it's all a joke. The only thing that kept me watching, was that it was kind of interesting to see how and why people interpret movies differently.
ps. one of the guys being interviewed thinks the moon landing was faked and Kubrick helped engineer it. I think the movie is worth watching just for that guys explanation.
I saw Headhunters (Hodejegerne (2011)) yesterday, that was pretty cool, but you probably need subs as it's from Norway.
Someone is really getting in the shit there...
Watched Seven Psychopaths, was allright plus. I enjoyed a lot of it, and no parts un-jived with me, but I've only just finished it, so I gotta give it a day or two until it has settled properly. But definitely recommendable. Also had a few twist and turns that I weren't so apparent, and that's always a good thing imo
I'm giving it at least 7 stars on IMDB.
Some of the best films I watched this year:
Blood of My Blood (dir. Joao Canijo, 2011) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1625155/

Gloria (dir. Sebastian Lelio, 2012) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2425486/
Upstream Color (dir. Shane Carruth, 2013) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2084989/ - this one is seriously fucking great.
Uroki Garmonii/Harmony Lessons (dir. Emir Baigazin, 2013) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2385101/
Parde (dir. Jafir Panahi) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2626926/

It may be the best kung-fu film I've seen so yeah.

Hollywood has become a piece of shit :S There are only a handful of actually good movies released in recent years. I watched Cloud Atlas for like 5 times now, that thing is deep as, though - requires a looot of patience to watch it, but the 1st time I saw it in the cinema, I knew my money was well spent.
I would recommend watching:
Ocean's 11 and Ocean's 13 - 11 is the best, but 13 is alright, 12 is kinda "meh".
Hangover - you will be rolling on the dormeo orthopedic laughing your ass off all movie long
How high
A clockwork orange
Pulp fiction
Sin city
The departed
Curious case of Benjamin Button
..and of course Fight club
If I would make a top list Pulp fiction and Fight club would definitely be at the top - can't even decide which one is nr1 and nr2, they are both ingenious. (The book Fight club is a lot better than the movie though, perhaps Pulp fiction takes 1st )
The shining - still the best horror movie ever made, watch it in the dark, you will be freaked the fk out
Also check out Underground and Black cat, White cat - The 1st is hilarious at 1st, toward the end, though, getting pretty serious, however, Black cat, White cat - comedy throughout and finishes wonderfully with something extremely funny happening
Zero Dark Thirty was pretty cool. 'Lincoln' to follow. Oh, and 'Breaking Dawn' was awesome!
