Has anyone seen Elysium in XD?
Apparently the biggest XD room of Europa will open over here in September and it has a Dolby Atmos (64 channels) sound system of a ridiculous 94.000 Watt. I definitely need a movie worth seeing there.

After watching Gravity I went on a mini sci-fi binge.

Saw Moon, K-PAX, and The Final Cut. Weird how I haven't seen any of these until now but at least I got around to them finally.

Great fucking movies. Especially Moon and K-PAX. And the soundtrack in K-PAX is brilliant.

Posted by Sushipunk on Nov-10-2013 22:13:

Yeah, K-Pax is really good.

Moon is one of my favorites.

Definitely a fantastic movie.

I saw elysium, pretty good, had a great time.

Anyone see man of tai chi?

Is it out, yet? I really want to see it. Fuck the haters, I love Keanu. Also love Kung Fu (yeah, yeah, I know) films.

I saw "Now You See Me (2013)", really enjoyed it.

Man, I used to know this guy in London that had the most epic Kung Fu collection all on VHS (36th chamber etc - where all the WuTang samples were ripped from).

He had to one film called something like Fist of the mantis or Fury of the mantis. The last 30 mins is an intense non-stop revenge fight scene with a body count that makes Rambo look like an episode of the teletubbies.

Seriously!? That movie was absolute garbage.

truly was

It was marketed towards 'tweens, wasn't it? At least it should have been, lol.

You have to forgive Trance-MB's taste in cinema.

if you like comedy and have netflix I recommend "Klown" it's hilarious

spoiler alert:

Now You See Me was retarded. The twist made no sense at all. Watching it for the second time must be absolutely hilarious, because you know.. he was the guy all along. Try justifying his actions throughout the movie prior to the revelation. You can't.

Posted by meriter on Nov-13-2013 14:42:

oh but they had a car attached to the front of the bus

I had a feeling it was just one big Illuminati conspiracy movie (THE EYE, COME ON!!), so I googled it and sure enough!:

I would highly recommend people not see national treasure. I thought it was going to be one of those funny crap movies where you can see that the director's trying really hard but just fails... but no, it's really not. It's got a boring and predictable storyline and all of the characters are incredibly shallow. A lot of the companions just seem to be there to be like "no we shouldn't do that" or to alternatively say really stupid shit so that the main character can correct them and thereby look slightly less stupid.

I would however highly recommend postal. It's sortof bad in a funny way; and plays a lot with assumptions. I think the following scene sums up this movie:

No problem, it's totally in line with my music taste, and probably I'm also the only one here who can't wait for Pacific Rim 2.

Also I don't have the intention to see it twice.

Another one I saw recently was Hummingbird, enjoyed it more then I expected, so you can skip it.

just watched After Earth, my favorite line from the imdb reviews

"Maybe if the boy were to sell popcorn and soda to people, his contributions to the film industry would be more welcoming."

I caught 12 Years a Slave two weeks back and was really impressed by it. I thought Fassbender was especially good. Rather than thinking to myself "wow he's a good actor.." I was wondering "is this guy actually racist?"

10/10 would see again

Directed by Adrian Grunberg who's works include in production with Traffic and Man on Fire both great flicks in their own rights.

I also enjoyed this movie about a French special forces team sent out to save one of their own Journalist who's life is in danger.

Can't believe they actually dubbed the Special Forces trailer lmfao.
