Three hits a day at 35 per, that’s seven tricks a day at least.

Yea, but I always felt that song was overrated anyways... Gimmick lyrics ftw!

That song is amazing.

Its not bad, by any means, its just not as good as everyone hyped it to be. Same with We Want Your Soul.

It's like TA's all time favourite track. Knowing the lyrics is part of the COR entrance exam.

I actually think the second half, without the vocals, is even better than the section with the lyrics. Those melodic sweeps are achingly beautiful. One of the best McProg tracks ever, along with I Have Put Out The Light.

I weep because you are so far away

It's so good I got the version without any vocals, but yeah second part is still more amazing

What is McProg?

This is the sound of nails being hammered into your coffin.

Im bringing back hating on mcprog... if someone doesn't do it, people might start to consider it classic.

Where is arturo?

So just part of the huge wave of prog that was released when prog became popular?

I've heard that song so many times and never knew what it was called.

McProg is one of TA's finest contributions to the trance discourse. Coined by a guy called Pio back in 2004, it circulated the web and became the standard label for that mid '00s flavour of bleepy-bloopy, side-chain-bass fourth wave progressive as championed by Markus Schulz, Andy Moor, Perry O'Neil and co. Most of those guys were just doing a shitty, watered down version of the Balance 005 sound.

I'm slightly amazed that you've been here for five years and you've never heard of it, to be honest. Just run a search for it in MD back in 2004 and marvel at the massive arguments. Those were the days.

Probspot - Foreplay was the name of the track.

oh fun times

Posted by Acton on Feb-21-2012 18:22:

Can't go wrong with a bit of Rikard Fredriksson (Probspot etc)

Posted by srussell0018 on Feb-21-2012 18:54:

I wouldn't think guys like Markus Schulz or Andy Moor would ever play You Are Sleeping.

Posted by SYSTEM-J on Feb-21-2012 19:04:

No, but they'd play a shitty, watered down imitation of it. Which is exactly what I said.
