Armin Van Buuren or Tiesto???

I'd have to go with Armin Van Buuren. His sets allways impress me..

Tough call...I like em' both for different reasons...I think Armin's mixes are pretty good, song selection is okay...Tiesto seems to do a better job of track selection...and a good job of putting it all together...have not seen either one live, so this opinion certainly isn't 100% at this point and time...

It would have to be Tiesto due to his incredible uplifting productions and his wonderful playlists. he truely has a wonderful ear for producing music that people can share passion with.

where Tiesto takes the save choices over and over again, armin takes risky records, always trying to re-lay his boundries and the audience's one, he is producing and spinning progressive, yet he doesn't forget his followers who became fan of him because of him great uplifting style. If I went to see tiesto, I DON'T want to hear him spinning al his magik 7 songs over and over again! and tiesto is also getting too progressive imo.

ive repeated my case too many times so i wont bother typing why thats my opinion!... but i'll add: Armin van Buuren is an awesome mix of all sides of trance and tiesto sticks too he uplifting stuff maybe chucking in a popular well known progressive track, only because he isn't taking a risk with something thats unknown and so he wont loose respect for being himself

who constantly plays new stuff.. constantly quality mixes..
has amazing track selection
plays so many damn sets..
and quality producer
he wins without a doubt

I don't think all of Armin Van Buuren's stuff sounds similar, the production of AVB's tracks definitely beats Tiesto!

it's a shame AvB wasn't at the SSS.
Tiesto was fukin fantastic and i've seen Armin once here in Bristol he woz amazing.
I can't really judge on that.. but AvB's constantly playin new choonz means nothing: Tiesto dropped in some old classiks but it still got the crowd goin mental.
tuff one.. I'll ave to wait and see AvB again to judge on that but his live sets are certainly fantastic.
mmm.. dunno.. I'll prolly go for Armin me guess

I think productions they are equal.
For variety of tracks atm its definitly Armin, hehe look at the promo`s and acetates in recent sets.

Tiesto is too predictable which is a shame cos the tracks he does play are more to my liking.

Again personal taste.

Damm, this is a tough call, some of armins sets dont really impress me much, while there are sets where he friking drops other DJ's, Tiesto, he will always make people drool on everydancefloor, but as I've heard, he playes pretty much the Popular tracks on the TRANCE selection..
WEll, in production TIESTO is good, but damm armin makes gold every single tracks.. I'll be choosing armin not because of fantastic trance tracks that no one may know, but because of his CD releases, Basic Instincts, they are totally awesome!!!!
Both this DJ's are uplifting and progressive.. still like them both.
