I don't usually watch Conan but boy was I glad I watched last Thursday. I don't remember laughing so hard for a long time. The best part had to be:
Triumph: Are you separatist?
Couple: Yes
Triumph: Do you hear that?
Couple: what?
Triumph: That's the sound of nobody giving a shit!!!
I would like to have seen Triumph give the "apology" last night but Conan's one was funny nonetheless. They don't deserve an apology!!

Originally posted by Nytehawk They Don't deserve an apology actually, because when I spent the summer out in Whistler, BC. Everywhere you go there were french canadians, and you could hear them every so often "Fucking English People" Also the fact that after the clubs got out, every fight was involving French Vs. English, and when French ppl get drunk their the most ignorant people i've ever seen. Not too say all English people behave when their drunk either, but i've seen all of this first hand. |
We never have any problems when we go anywhere outside the US. We are the good Americans Some of us aren't the greatest but that can be said about anyone else too. There are a$$holes of all kinds.

"People of Quebec, I'm sorry," O'Brien said in English. That was translated and subtitled to: "People of Quebec, I'm an albino jackass." O'Brien went on to say: "We meant no harm with our comedy piece the other night." That was translated into: "The other night, I wet the bed like a little girl." |
Note on Topic subject:
It's an Ontarios minister that speaks out.
Wtv.
I was the first one to laugh at the sketches as I know they're meant to be disruptive humour... end of story.
The crowd over-reaction, and this forum's seriousness concerning the issue furthers resentment of english neighbours though. I still like to fuck english girls. Doesn't mean I'll stop if Quebec ever seperates.
For the record, I'm not seperatist. In fact I believe in a country free world, but my utopist ideas have no weight against the mass of patriotic morons.
Quebecers are awesome people to party with, I've only had good experiences with them, except that one guy who maced that dude in the bathroom, when we went for Sander K, Raoul and Malek were downstairs puking or some shit, and some guy got maced in the face and then robbed, lol, I thought it was so funny at the time (I was drunk at the time), cuz it was the craziest shit I'd ever seen, other than that and their appaling driving, Montrealers and Quebecers are wicked people to hang with!

Originally posted by ahlamalek man you sound so dumb. did you know that ontarians come to quebec city and party their asses off then start shit when drunk with the locals? Same here in Montreal when lil american ******s think they're the kings of the world and start shit before getting demolished. its always the same, you travel somewhere, you think you're superior and diss the locals, add alcohol and shit happens. |
This will never happen

Originally posted by TrueToTheCrew Speaking of dumb..... My apolagies ahlamalek, but I think your opinion if very flawed. Im not an american nor do i go around thinking im king shit. In sept i was in montreal on a regular weekend. It was all local people that i partied with. i have never seen so many rude people in my life. I was treated like shit. Ignored because they thought i was american. Before engaging any conversation with a local i had to tell them i was not american so they would at least hear me out. Most people would be confrontational after recieving that much attitude. Whats even more fucked up is that I actually partied with americans one night at Metro and had a good time. Most Francophones bring on thier own problems and make up contraversy out of thin air. You dont see anglophones crying because it is illegal to have English street signs if a certain percentage of the population is francophone. Im sure many people in quebec would live better lives and have the rest of canada like them if they didnt direct all their energy to "Je mais souviens" and stop being such bitches. Being proud is one thing, being obsessive is another. |

Originally posted by ahlamalek talking about flawed logics, you are generalzing with one bad experience. what are you trying to prove? |

Originally posted by TrueToTheCrew Im not saying all quebecers are like that but man, that experience left a bad taste in my mouth. It wasnt 1 place. It was everywhere I went and every minute i was there with a few exceptions. It just seems like anytime something happens, the francophones always seem to be victims. What does it take and where is the line drawn. Your right, I dont like to generalize but please dont pretend that what i said holds no truth. I have nothing to prove and am not trying to prove anything. |

Originally posted by ahlamalek i still don't get your point. you are saying that have bad experiences with francophones but at the same time you are not generalizing??? then you go off by saying that francophones play the victims, another generalization? give me a break. You fucked up your argument and should stop there. |

Maaaaaaaaaaan if there is so much heat between the english people and Qubecois I think I will stick to speaking German or the littel french I still know and pretend I am a tourist from Germany. Quite Frankly when I went there it was cool a few years back I t reminded me alot of back home. Especially Quebec city. Never encoutnered any rudeness there. But then again I was not speaking a lot of english there either.
