set looks promising, tracklist is sick!

***edit*** set is nice....... energy almost never drops exept at the end.. which is understandeble.. good set

I thought the mix was quite good. Track selection and order was amazing, great melodies with hard basslines, what i like to hear. Its the type of mix that gets crowds moving. only thing is that it wasnt perfectly beat matched, i heard too many small fender benders (what I call when beats that arent perfectly matched, not a train wreck). And if you want to be a big proffessional DJ, those mixes need to be perfectly clean almost the whole way through. But the excellent track selection makes up for most of it

great set, kept me listening the whole time, I love that track between 1:05 and 1:11. What is it?

Posted by TayCo on Mar-28-2004 09:45:

Whats the name of the first track ?
In the tracklist it`s " International Posers - T.E.K.K. 69 " , but i find this title and the track sounds so different from that Misja plays.
Does anybody know how the track is called or what special Remix Misja plays ?

didn't really like much of the track selection. definately not my style.

i like your caps lock key

The energy of the set is great. Tracklist is really good. I cant believe the actual mixing is so bad in the beginning. I have never listened to other sets my Misja but if this is representative of his mixing ability..that is embarrassing. Anyway, the tracks are tight enough to almost make you forget about the mixing.

Final impression

Tracklist= above average
Mixing= Below average

This is a very nice set. Yeah, the mixing is not perfect ina few places but the tracklisting more than makes up for it. hey everyone's a critic right?

I played it for some of my friends at the beach last weekend and it was a hit! So nice to groove out to good trance music at the beach. I highly reccomend it.

mixing is not as good as i would have hoped. Track selection however totally makes up for it. From what i hear this dj spends more time building his collection w/ killer tracks than he does spending time practicing. Worthy of a download.

He NEEDS practice and alot of it, whens the last time you heard a dj pull out of a mix, bring it back in and it was still off-just terrible, the tracklist was very nice though

Posted by andree on Apr-19-2004 07:08:

now seriously, the mixing especially at the beginning is soo crappy it makes me think he was too wasted....or nervous..or something, because this just cant be normal. but anyway, the tracks are really really nice. i totally LOVE the first song, and now comes my question, does anybody know where could i possibly look for it....or is it even tracklisted correctly? (international posers - t.e.k.k. 69) i looked at juno, chemical-records, web-records, even gemm and couldnt find it anywhere....thanx in advance..

To OurManFlint

The track at 1:05-1:11 is Vascotia - Calibro (Sonicvibe remix)which is currently pressed on Somatic Sense, which also pressed 8 Wonder - The Morning After (which is a more direct hard driver than Calibro). Planetxusa.com appears to be out of its vinyle stock of Calibro (I don't know about CDs), but you might try Chemincal-records.uk.co or (as always) gemm.com.

And I agree, Sonicvibe's remix is great.

This is the best live set I have ever heard. I don't understand all you people saying it is badly mixed?? I can't hear anything wrong with it. The tracks are fantastic and I still enjoy it every time I listen to it and afterall that is all that is important in a live mix.

10/10 Misja

A definate Must have.

I have no clue. I am trying to download it right now so I hope that the set is still there. I am addicted to Misja Helsloot feat Shane54 - Back From Your Past.
