Big Ears I've just heard the best Trance album ever!!!

I have just got the offical Ahead album and it is the best album I have heard this year. And the packaging is superb too!!!! This album will definately be talked about in ten years time as one of the best albums ever made!!!!! www.aheadmusic.com You are going to love it!!!

greatest album evah was GU013 and I doubt anything will change that. I am hearing from people that Ahead is a very strong compilation.

Posted by PoppIGM on May-10-2004 00:03:

My mates have just told me that the two people who made the Ahead album - Scott Bond and Andrew Gallagher - were the same people who made Gatecrasher Red, Wet and Discotech. Legendary.

Posted by torontotrance on May-10-2004 00:08:

They were legendary but certain CDs you listen to a lot now, the difference between Legendary CDs and Non Legendary CDs as you play the Legendary CDs tons, yrs later and still never get tired of them.

Which one was GU013, who was on the mixing duties?

DJ Sammy

Sasha in Ibiza

It just defined the dj mix album for me as far as trance goes, it had some prog house in it but it was huge as an album.

I have got some of the GU albums, but they tend to be a bit heavy duty sometimes. This Ahead album is breathtaking in its originality. They really have taken Trance forward. I hvaen't heard anything like ti before. The mixing is fluid and natural and it seems to be in key throughout. Wait until you hear the opening track.... Jump The Next Train (exclusive). It isn't even out on vinyl yet. And Scott Bonds new track and Oakenfold .... I so pleased with it, I could just cream my jeans! xxx

i have trouble finding more then 5 good tracks on there...im sorry but no.

TPOD/7 Ways Tranceport is good also

Posted by Phunky1 on May-10-2004 04:01:

I think the tracklist looks perfect! Gatecrashers always have top of the line mixing.

I gotta hear Corderoy - Deeper!

Posted by alffla on May-10-2004 04:09:

hmm....not bad cd.

Posted by Vyse on May-10-2004 11:31:

Posted by sandstorm03 on May-10-2004 14:25:

yea can u say random?...god dam tits thinkin that shit is good. Just kick is the best track on there. Just about the only good track.

Posted by Floorfiller on May-10-2004 14:29:

well...scott bond was involved with all of the great gatecrasher compilations, but he was also involved in all of the crappy ones of recent.

at least this doesn't look too bad...best album ever? i don't think so, but it looks pretty good...

Posted by eRRaTiK on May-10-2004 14:39:

GU013... maybe have to listen to it again sometime.

best trance album imo = tranceport.

speaking of gatecrasher.. check out 'wet'

Posted by Az on May-10-2004 14:52:

I'm going to wait til I hear it
tracklist looks random, but apparently it flows beautifully, and just kick it fits perfectly

Posted by audi0v0x on May-19-2004 13:05:

awsome album indeed. listening to it now for the 10th time. all you fags who dont like it stfu

Posted by emul8or on May-19-2004 15:13:

"Age of Love Age of Love Marco V remix
Robert Nickson Spiral
F Massif Somebody Ferry Corsten Remix
Jon The Dentist Global Phases Agnelli & Nelson Remix"

are all really weak.. and that's just CD 1 don't think i'll bother giving it a listan but by all means, the rest of you should enjoy it

Posted by Pio on May-19-2004 17:17:

The tracklist looks like an ASOT nightmare with a few exceptions (Just Kick).

Posted by Reactic on May-19-2004 22:20:

Just can't get out of my head that this thread is a commercial for scott bond, ahead. sorry but after seeing here scott bond in another thread advertise for his cd its like another hype..

nevertheless, the cd is quite good but not so good as ASOT 2004. Some good tracks are especially on cd 1 but at all a bit harder therefore i will not buy it.
