Trance in France?
Im from the UK but im moving to Paris next year and im just wondering what clubs/nights/djs there are trance or prog(preferably)orientated to keep me occupied?
Anyone?
There into house
I bet the TA's in the France-subforum can help u out with that
u'll prolly only see rappers and hippies in France
Du Pain, du Vain, du Boursin
These are the best DJ's in France
France is one of the countries with the greatest histories of electronic music, but not trance. In music history, France has always been diametrically opposed to Germanic movements, and edm is no exception.
Anyone noticed the topictitle rhymes?!
Ladies & gentlemen we've got ourselves a poet.
trance in france is pretty much non existant I think, they like a lot of house and electro and a bit of techno.
Oxia is a great producer, he sometimes borders on trance with his tunes and the hacker is also pretty good!
It's all about Thomas Bangalter and Laurent Garnier.

hacker has little trance influence either... imo
your all wrong, they play hard tek there. raves are outlawed pretty much. the music at raves is like noise. just noise with beats.
in france you'll mostly find commercial house music played in clubs , otherwise there's almost no trance or prog played ...
they have these "free parties" (illegal "raves") where they play hardcore and makina (some sort of VERY CRAPPY spanish hardcore music)
Was in Paris last year, and had a really hard time finding a club which played decent music. We found one in the Blvd. Clichy area, but can't remember the name (Pigalle???).
Anyway, very little trance in France...
