Enough is enough!

People, listen up.
Let's make this the LAST thread about the USA issue, the devil and muslims. What happened there is very tragic. And if you find it painful and sad, why do you have to keep reminding your selves about it all the time? Don't get me wrong, I find it tragic and sad as well.
But this is getting really annoying along with the fact that they are cancelling all good TV shows and soccer games here in Europe.
Do you know how many threads you people have started about this thing?
Especially the devil thing and the world war 3. Let's make this forum look like it did a month ago again, hopefully without James though.
Please don't start new threads about this.

Some people here knew people who died in the attacks.

It is serious - we could be on the brink of WWIII.

Many of us Americans could get drafted.

A good portion of NYC is destroyed.

he never said it wasnt horrible and all.. many people over here in the UK have also lost friends and loved ones.. no-one is saying that this isnt a tragic disaster.. he is just saying that we already hear it and see it all over the news so we dont need 90 threads about the WTC tragedy...

Tsss, if anyone wants to start a thread, they van do it from my point of view. How can you say what can and what not? If you don't want to read what people have tosay, then just DON'T! Let people say what they want, it's just a way to express themselves, and maybe this helps them to come over it! I agree with you that that thread about the devil is stupid, but hell, you're not obliged to read it, are you?!?

I have the right to start THIS thread! This is MY way to express myself. And you're not obligated to read THIS thread, neither to give me stupid comments, I've had enoughof those allready.

And if I lost a friend or a relative, I wouldn't go to a music foum in order to come over it, I know better ways. And I don't think people will come over anything by posting threads about the devil.

As to the comment "it really is beyond me why you feel a need to tell as all" I think this is quite hurtful and disrespectful. Everyone deals with horrific events such as this in different ways and by far the most common reaction is to want to talk about it with people...family, friends, work colleagues etc etc. This is what psychologists try to get people to do to work through the emotions. To be cutting this channel off from people could potentially lead to further emotional trauma than would otherwise have happened. To chastise people for doing it is one step worse IMO. As has been stated previously, if you don't wish to talk about it, don't even open the thread.

Personally, I am opposed to any form of censorship stamets on grounds of racism, intolerance etc etc to have a third party remove them is IMO an attack on freedom of speech. If he wants to retract them that is a different story. I certainly hope that this thread is not "locked" to prevent offtopic discussion as that would be a massive step downhill in this forum's evolution.

these forums are unfortunatly going downhill.. this is partly due to the amount of stupid useless threads that repeat othersm, and useless posts by some members that have absolutly nothing to do with the thread subject. fuck it, i dont need to say this, u should have read the announcement from swamper already..

what alienfactory was getting at was the fact that there was (and still is) about 6 threads saying exactly the same thing and doing nothing but taking up space.. ive merged 2 as it is.. but others would look silly merged cuz the post order isnt the same and ppls replies wouldnt make sense...

we are fine with letting people say what they want (within reason obviously) but when people dont actually look at the forum and make a thread thats exactly the same as another then over time it gets a bit tedious.

hope this puts the point accross clearly

and lets not turn this into another flame war... for trance's sake

Tu_face, I understand what you mean, and I totally agree. If that's what Alienfactory means (If you translated his words well) then I understand. But I don't see what's so difficult in asking politely? Why jumping on someone for giving comments, telling them they are idiots and giving stupid comments? You DID attack me, because I called him an idiot (I'm sorry for that.) and because I said you had stupid comments.
