Just checked on his site. Said nothing of the Olympics just of him playing in Athens on that day. Further info please do not want to waste 3 hours with no Tiesto.

ANP (main Dutch news source) is reporting it as well.

I doubt it. Rumours have been circulating that Neneh was asked to perform at the 2004 Olympics Opening Ceremony in Athens together with Wayne Wonder, whose 'No Holding Back' was nominated for a Grammy as 'Best Reggae Album' just recently.

The pair are likely to work together on a track for the official Olympics 2004 album as well. More info will follow shortly.

It's also been confirmed by Tisto's management. Apparently the Greek weren't to happy with the news getting leaked already.

I think that's too much of an honor for Tiesto to carry.

In any case, he better take it seriously and execute it well. No trainwrecks, no jukebox-style anthem dropping, please.

Posted by Radagast on Aug-07-2004 21:20:

Tiesto's got some serious management problems. First "Just Be" is leaked before it's official release, now this? Or maybe they do it on purpose. If it's even true.

lol. most albums leak before official release. "evolution" (chris liebing) was out 6+ months before it's official release

instead of critiscing it maybe getting behind, it may be tiesto but this is a good enough advert for the industry/scene

If this is indeed true than this is a fantastic opportunity for Tiesto and EDM to be be heard and seen globally in front of 2.2 Billion views( this might be a record for a dj performace)

... i am excited to see what he plans to do. Just make sure no one is around him cuz he might get distracted

Posted by TheVrk on Aug-07-2004 22:33:

cant be anything but good news
