Another "how to recreate"... Primolux - Flame (or any fast) bassline

I've been producing for about 7 weeks now so please, no ripoff bashing. I hate ripping and I'm not gonna use that bassline in any song, I just need to learn how stuff is done before I can do everything myself!

Anyway, I don't care about the synth, just the sequencing part, I can't seem to figure it out by myself.

Sample: http://w1.184.telia.com/~u18411604/...me_bassline.mp3

Answer in a piano roll/sequencer screenshot or "step-sequencer lingo" would be great, but of course, any help helps!

How do you make a mid-bass... just by boosting the mid freq's on the equalizer or how?

a mid-bass is a bass where only the mids are left, every other frequence is cut out
