Trance or Vocal trance?
Trance without any vocal or with vocals?
Forgive me if this had posted before...search button isn't working
There's room for both in this crazy mixed up world but in a cd length set I only like to hear 2 maybe 3 vocals.
Also I wanna add that I mean decent vocals layed into a good trance tune NOT a 7 minute track with 6.5 minutes of some whailing banshee woman "singing" !!!
non-vocal to many trance tracks r ruined cose of vocal on them
Without vocal, unless the vocal is really, really godly.

Some trance tunes can't go with vocals....I prefer some vocals in a track.....but not many
hahaha as the rush comes!!!
both great, but u CANT go wrong with a good vocal imo
u serious, i thought that was shit, songs with good vocals would be Anything with Kate Cameron, but yeh it can't ova power the actual music. Sometimes i prefer vocals with trance, it deppends if it compliments the music, like the Gabriel & Dresden Rmx of "No one on earth" really works well.
I like all my songs to have female vocals in them.
I think an excellent balance between vocal and non-voacl is the best way to go on a CD or live mix.
Example of Godly vocal = 'Silence'
I don't care if you think it's old. This song is an absolute classic and still sends chills down my spine.
Non vocal preferably, but those "humming" vocals can really add to tracks. (ex: 3rd Earth, etc)

I want to add
Andain - Beaufitul thing
without that meaningful godly vocal(and/or G&D rmx), the song is pure trash ihmo.

i like a bit of both thank you

Greetings!
Wife and I love the vocal trance, but both have a good place in our playlists. Not any vocals, mind you, just the sexy, seductive type. Like walking on clouds, most anything by Jan Johnston, Kirsty Hawkshaw, and so on...
I prefer tunes with female vocals in.
Tunes featuring Justine Suissa =

I would think that vocals and nonvocals are equally the same to me, but i would only listen girls vocals, cause if guys sing...it just ruins it all!!
also, the only vocal songs i like would be that the girls vocals better be really really good! ^_^
but thats my opinion!
it depends on how i feel.
i don't think vocals is cheese, only to an extent if it is used properly. warning to djs .. do not try to remix an 80's song ... depends on how much the vocals is taken to effect .. (like BT ft JC Chasez - Forces of Gravity (Ferry COrsten mix) .. cheese .. j/k .. don't tell DarkAngel..)
but i like either the light soft female vocals or the gay male vocals (not that i am gay or anything ..
really really i'm not.. hmmm.. )..
