Love Dumonde - Never look back

I just heard this track....and it is GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!and i mean GREAT
I don't know why this song hasn't got so many fans as suburban train xpander etc(see TA top 100)...I think it is better than xpander Cafe Del Mar and other shit!Do u find this track good too?

Posted by Ricky Tan on Oct-20-2004 20:03:

Huh ? I've Never heard it. I don't think many on the site have either

Posted by Ricky Tan on Oct-20-2004 20:08:

J/K. That track is my favorite Dumonde track. Some people might think they are second rate producers, but I think they have a wicked baseline.

Well I can't say I'm a huge fan...

One of the top hard trance tracks of all time, and definitely DuMonde's best track.

Loved it back in the day's, still a good tune to hear sometimes....but it's not better than cafe del mar & xpander

Tomorrow(DJ Jam X & De Leon Remix) is DuMonde's best track ever!!
I think ''never look back'' sucks.

Dumonde has a lot of great tracks and remixes. I dont think I can pick one over another..

But Never Look Back is definitely a classic. IMO i like the original version better than the Tiesto Remix.

DuMonde? Did somebody say.....??

'Never Look Back' made me a big DuMonde fan in the first place!
I won't mention my fave DuMonde-track....I don't feel like putting on my flamesuit again....

It's 'Kalt'

Bah, Tiesto's Remix owns IMO. Wouldn't classify this as hard-trance though.

You wouldn't classify DuMonde as hard trance, or the Tiesto remix?

Cause if its the former, you are very wrong

Either way, Dumonde Vs Lange - Memory owns all Dumonde songs, with
Rank 1 - Symsonic (Dumonde Remix)
Marc Aurel - Running (Dumonde Remix)

being close behind

Never Look Back is simply massive. Massive massive massive. Not on par with Xpander and Cafe del Mar, but definitely a strong entry in the tier just below them.

The Original is the best, with only the spoken vocals, not the silly "there's no way back for yooouuuuuu" chorus. The Tiesto remix comes next.

Ah yes, the Binary Finary sound-alike which is often mislabeled as such and had me fooled for years.

Doesn't really sound like binary finary at all to me...

Mmm this track is mint, though I wouldn't say it beats all the other classics.

Posted by Radagast on Oct-21-2004 02:05:

What a mint track! This track is so massive!!! It's more massive than my massively massive brain tumor! Thesaurus? Is that some kind of Dinosaur?!? The melody in no way copies Binary Finary! The only thing more original than this track is Rank 1 - Airwave!

Posted by tbias on Oct-21-2004 02:06:

The only thing better than the majority of Dumonde tracks including Never Look Back, is seeing and hearing them live.

They rock.

Many DJs when you attend their gigs are more interested in trying to be a different, playing rare tracks that no-one else is, and they forget about the crowd.

Dumonde are are the opposite, they rock the house. They are not made the for the armchair trance fans that compare tracklists on Friday night, they are made the people that like to have sore legs on Saturday morning.

You know, if you want to be a troll you really should try to be a bit less obvious.

To be honest it's been so long since I heard the two tracks that I can't remember exactly how they went... sure, the progression is similar on both but not identical.

I do it so rarely that when it happens it must be as if Zeus himself burst the heavens asunder with a stabbing bolt of thunder. You do it so often that we notice it no more than the clear blue sky above our heads each day.
