Antares - Rose Garden

I was just checking the GDJB tracklisting, and I saw this on there, which reminded me what an amazing song it is. Any info on a release date or anything? I'm certain this song is at least a few months old by now, I first heard it in a set 3 or 4 months ago.

yeah, Niklas played it in his previous guest mix for GDJB already, earlier this year

For those of you looking for a quasi-review, the track is one of the most energetic tracks I've heard this year, pretty fast, definitely bangin'. It uses either a Violin or similar instrument and manages to get a classical sound going on as well, quite unique IMO.

No thanks, I'm not gonna bother with a whole set which will probably bore me 90% of the time for one tune.

Niklas had told me that Leon was starting his own label and was going to release it on that label. I sent Leon an email about this and here is was he had to say:


"Antares - Rose Garden: That label I'm starting up is for a record
company called ftm, but they arent very quick in responding etc. So I
don't know if I'm willing to do a label for them. Elseway I'll send Rose Garden around and see who wants to sign it."

I truly hope this track sees a full release. Niklas just dropped this again in his TATW guest mix and everyone loved it! So much emotion in this track unlike a lot of the crap coming out these days.

Good lord, I haven't heard anything from antares since the driver in like 99/2000... I'll check it out.

that Rose track is just another trancer, made just for fun.

Well, about that label: i don't think it is gonna work, because of the communication problems mentioned above. I'm planning to make a more fierce version of it and maybe a mix that is a little bit more proggy.

Besides, Eller (van Buuren, yeah Armin;s brother) wants to play the guitar parts again cuz he isnt totally confident with them. So I guess i'll have to wait for them

OH!!!!!! so this is the song that everyone sad was very emotional on the TATW guest mix?!?!?! i am really lookin forward to hearing this tune.

I'm a little late finding out about this track... but WOW. Just an amazingly emotional piece.

It's been 4 weeks since the leon gave us an update about it... wondering if there is any news?

And now it's been 10 months. Any news Leon ?

Btw I've noticed that there's both a progressive version and a trance version Of course I prefer the progressive one.

Sorry to bring this back up but i'm still enjoying this song.
As much as the guitars 'make the song', i think Leon's sound now would really compliment the melody.

Bring back "Rose Garden"!!!!

I remember I PMed Leon about this over 2 years ago. He said he would maybe release it for download through his website, but unfortunately nothing ever materialised

One of my favourite unreleased tracks, I still love it as much now as I did 4 years ago when Niklas was dropping it in his sets.

As an after-thought, I wonder why Eller wasn't happy with the guitar parts? They sound amazing to me!!
