Hello! Al Azar - Random Act Of Noise Pollution (Swidge's "Polluting Presence" Remix)

This is my first post on the Amateur Music Producers Section, and I'm starting of with the remix I did of Al Azar's "Random Act Of Noise Pollution". It's completely different but if you listen carefully, you'll probably recognize some of the synths.

Artist: Al Azar
Title: Random Act Of Noise Pollution (Swidge's "Polluting Presence" Remix)
Length: 6:06
Genre: Progressive

Al Azar - Random Act Of Noise Pollution (Swidge's "Polluting Presence" Remix) [256kbps]

Dark, gloomy and completely different from the original. Excellent stuff.

Thanks for the remix.

defo, the only part i didn't like was the structure of the breakdown, otherwise mint stuff

Posted by Endre on Jan-05-2005 16:09:

Everything keeps getting better and better. I like this experimental stuff. Keep it up.

Posted by NoisyNeil on Jan-05-2005 17:11:

thanks for the comments so far
i agree with your feedback montana, i'm going to change the breakdown cause it's too much a "rush" ...

Dark, complex, driving and original. Fantastic remix.

That bit at 3:20 is wicked.

Posted by Sunquest on Jan-05-2005 21:14:

not exactly my style, but is well kewl
kinda has the bobina sound to it, (real instruments)
thanks for sharing

Thank you for your comment

this is really good, enjoyed it alot
nice and dark, bassline really rocks
only thing to comment on, is it seems a bit too bass heavy

Posted by mef on Jan-13-2005 17:19:

Great beat to it. Progressive is good to describe it i suppose. Very cool stuff mate

Posted by Massive84 on Jan-13-2005 17:50:

ya great traack

only thing i didn't like was that low octave synth.

Hmm there is an acid sweep that remind me alot on bass shuttle

Great production.

Thanks, Haak, mef and Massive

I think i'm going to start over new and change the build-up aswell as the proportions between the volumes (I think that's what ppl call mastering here )

I'm still pretty much amazed that everybody likes it, I had my doubts in the beginning haha, ... but thanks a lot I'm very pleased...

btw Massive, what do you mean by "low octave synth?"

Posted by AlphaStarred on Jan-16-2005 03:02:

sounds pretty cool..it could def. use some work tho imo, sounds a bit empty at some points, but def. not bad for a first post..keep it up

Posted by Syeker on Jan-16-2005 05:02:

Sounds pretty good to me . The synth that's introduced at the 3:20 sounds cool but some panning to the left and the right would be better, you know what i mean . Then it's the structure, which could be better but is your first try, isn't it?

Nice work

thanks for the feedback dude it's my first post on TA yes, but i've tried very much over the last few years

Posted by Massive84 on Jan-16-2005 18:00:

that synth starts at 2.08

its not that i didn't like it , just didn't feel that the sound matched the rest. But thats taste

I get your point
I don't feel the same about that synth, but that's also taste
it's just good to hear what everybody thinks, so I can do something with it next time...

thanks "practise" and "experimenting" are the keywords in producing, so thats exactly what we should do
btw. where can I listen to your production(s)?

Why when i read it sounds funny? . The tunes I've made untill now are to amateurish to be posted here (you know with Mr. Mistery, Mart & Icone still active in this forum). I'm currently working on a fully well produced tune along with a friend but the thing is we don't always have time to sit back and finish it I'll post it here as soon as its finished

Nothing's too amateur for the amateur music producers forum! By the way, Mr Mystery is doing mandatory army service, I've all but given up on music production and Icone rarely posts tracks due to label commitments. Plus Mike Foyle and Sunquest usually only ever post samples (and bad quality samples at that). Don't feel intimidated or inferior, because after all receiving a bit of constructive criticism can help a lot.

You should do whatever you want too, as Mart already concluded in his post above: the Amateur Music Section is for yourself too see what others think of your music. And what you do with their critisism is your own choice

The deal is not too get yourself a recordlabel or anything, however that would be nice. But that should never be your target, I would say

And don't let yourself get insecure by those people who now have a recordlabel and stuff, cause don't forget: they started small too

great tune, i like the bassdrum, hard and pumping, great mastering. maybe lacks of high frequencies a bit? compared to the bassdrum, the bass is a little bit too weak i think! just a little!
