Trance (full 128) Inner thoughts

Hello fellow producers.

I've changed my earlier track i've posted into this one. It now has a break with a guitar. And i've changed the melodie a bit and added an extra lead. This is the link:

Hope ya like it. And waiting for a review on maybe improving the track?

Greetz,

Sebastiaan

Hey,
Listening .... Man this sounds totally pro to me, intro is fucking awesome, lots of energy, loved bass also, at 0:58 it's great man, sounds me more or less like Above and Beyond style, is great.
In overall, I dont have any complain, mastering sounds fine to me in my crappy PC Speakers, this is top Notch dood .
Kopi =o.

Thnx mate. I'm pretty satisfied about the track also. Maybe that i'm going to lift the break a bit, but i'm not sure really. About the mastering. Man that's a hard thing to do. Maybe you guys out here have some suggestions. I work with t-tracks to widen the stereo a bit and a small bit of compression but it's really difficult to make the right mix.

the track overall is finely done, maybe the lead could be a tiny bit louder/sharper? other than that it is a nice track

Man this track is sick! Such a great choice of synths...they all go together so well! Nice filter work too! I hear subtle flanging and sweeping that doesn't overpower the rest...nice stuff!
A piece that's really interesting to listen to!
Great work...I cant find anything to tell you to improve! HAHAH..

EXCELLENT!

One thing for sure its sound very likely as an anjunabeat production. Like the song from beginning to the end. a true sound.

I love what you did with it from the last version, A+

Man, what a trance trip! Don't tell me you haven't released a track of yours yet. I can hardly belive that.

This tune amazed me that much, that I took it to the studio to listen to it on some real monitors.

Well, just take some deep bass out and cut the end a little, because I think 1:30 for a DJ mixout (outro) is too long. But that's on your descretion, you're the componist. But at least do not fade out at the very end. I think the volume is rolling down about 25 seconds before the end.

But that's just all about mastering an mixdown. Don't change anything else!!! This tune has to be released.

Try in Germany www.shah-music.com. They have lots of "ballearic sounds".
You may listen to their radio show on mondays 20:00-00:00 CEST at "radio sunshine live" (www.sunshine-live.de, stream).

How suprised will he be when he finds out it was made with reason

Very Nice Track Mate gj

Posted by RIPassion on Apr-10-2005 20:49:

Well, I earlier (when listening) stopped listening once I knew it was the outro, but now I gave a full listen.

The outro could be a lot more DJ friendly (as well as shorter, but that doesn't really matter too much for DJing). Pretend you were mixing a new track in and base your outro off of that new mix-in.

Why should he? Reason is reliable studio software. Not the price of the tool counts. It's all about the result and the talent of the producer.
Do you know "Kernkraft 400 - Zombie Nation"? Big hit (even commercially) and this was made with a C64.

By the way, the mastering in fact is perfect. Just forgot to bypass the EQ.

I swear, if I hear this one more damn time (directed inappropriately at anyone), I'm going to kick someone in the nuts. This is ridiculous. If you would be so kind... read the following post, in case you didn't pay close attention the first time through.

(sorry, not picking on you, Ron) Notice the emphasis it seemed that Ron placed on equipment, from his monitors to software; it seemed a little like he was edging on the "holy shit you must have the high end stuff, Sixsenses!" side.

But no, in comes Mr. Profound, quoting 500 famous interview-with-producer quotes all at once.

For the record, I'm a reason 2.5 user.

Posted by Ultraphase on Apr-11-2005 00:21:

Cool down!
I DID understand what you meant. But still one should not be surprised about the fact this tune was made with Reason.

Also, I did not quote any interview-with-blah...

That was/is just my (own) opinon.
Kick my nuts, but you won't kick my opinion.
