seeing your boss at a bar

ever had that happen? i was at the bar lastnight and my boss was at the counter when i was going to pay my tab.

he's like "i thought you were sick"
cause i told him that day that i might go home early cause i wasn't feeling so good (but i stayed, it was just the coffee truck food, didn't sit well for a few hours)

and since i missed wed cause of my strep throat, he thinks i'm a 'slacker' oh man. im never going to that bar again. :/

ur problem is u look at ur boss as ur principal. like ur trying to pull a fast one pn him all the time. just be straight up truthful. and never use feeling sick as an excuse. use appointment so much better. cause an appointment could mean anything

Id want to hit my boss if I saw him out at a bar. Picking a fight with the ****** would bring me so much joy. I dream about punching my boss in the face.

my boss was 3 years older than me, but acted like i was like, his little prother or something

when i just turned 21, he took me to like, every bar in town with him. he fuckin rocked.

I actually used to party with alot of my former boss's.

A few years back I had a girlfriend who's brother was gay & he was in town for Christmas. He wanted us to hang out with him & his friends one night at this gay bar. I was like ok since I was with my girl. Well at the bar I saw an old HS substitute teacher of mine. Damn if only peeps in school knew then.

The problem when you're straight and you go to a gay bar you're always scared you're going to bump into someone you know and what they'll think of you being there

Me in regards to meeting a boss never happened.

Btw btg you have a serious problem. You get busted at a bar by your boss on the day you said you were sick and you somehow have the audacity to question his being there?
I tought you had grown up and tried to learn to keep a steady job but obviously nowhere near close.
The last job I had I was at for a year and a half. I did not call off a single time for like a year and 2 months till I was hospitalized for a week which did ended up taking all my sick days.
But seriously if you have sick days ; don't waste them as you may actually need them sometimes for legit purposes.

saw my old supervisor(who was an absolute dick) out about a year ago. he bought me a couple of shots and then later on i was like hey you want to buy me another drink? he was like sure put it on my tab. i had two friends of mine with me and needless to say we ordered drinks at his expense. he wasn't very happy.

I may have misinterpreted this but it seems as if you believe it was not ok for your boss to be at that bar when you really shouldn't have been there at that particular time.

If you were truly sick or not regardless, you have to take you own damn responsabilities if you go out on the same evening where you said you were sick.

The problem is you always view yourself as a stupid victim when you seem to fail to comprehend why you seem to get into any kind of trouble.

BTG missed work on Wednesday. He had strep throat.

On Friday, he went to work. He felt kind of sick so he told his boss he might have to leave early cuz he felt sick. But he didn't leave. He felt better after a while so he did not leave work early.

He worked all day Friday. After working all day Friday, he ran into his boss at the bar.

I have partied with quite a few managers. My first one, during college, brought me up to Ft. Collins for a weekend. I did more drinking and pot smoking there than I had ever before. They had a closet, called the dope spot, where they did all their smoking. It had a 4 ft. bong and a gas mask hooked up to a steamroller.

I partied with another boss a bit too. Rolled with him and shit.
