Canadian fly in fishing trip.

Wow Canada is beautifull in all its glory. Northern Ontario is awesome for fishing. My bro caught a 49 inch pike, My family and I each caught 10 20+ inch walleyes a day, I nabbed a 10 lb pike. Had a few cigars as well as a beer to top it off. Saw 2 blackbears, a moose, got within 20 feet of a bald eagle, went skinny dipping in lake Ogoki. My whole family got sun burnt to a crisp then it tanned nicely. And yes there will be pics of the trip esp of my bros pike. To top it all off we went to see split rock light house and gooseberry falls on the north shore. It was great.

On the way in me and my family each bought a funsize bag of ketchup chips, had our poutine, and we still cant figure out what the vinegar on the table is used for. Found out that the slang term for bug spray is "northern ontario perfume"

So how was everyone elses week?

Malt vinegar is the shit.

Sounds like an awesome trip. I've only been to Western Canada (BC, Alberta), but that's fucking beautiful too.

next time hit up BC and the rocky mountains. THAT will blow you away if you thought northern ontario was the shit.

Aren't I a lucky bastard to live in BC?

In all seriousness, though, BC is an awesome province. The best places to go are Vancouver, Vancouver Island (REPRESENT!) especially the south and west, the entire West Coast of the mainland, Gwaii Haanas (aka the Queen Charlottes), any place in or alongside the Rockies (Mount Robson in particular is bloody spectacular), and if you like hot weather or deserts, any place near Okanagan Lake or Osoyoos. I've heard good things about Kamloops, too, but have yet to have really checked that place out.

The Coast Mountains, like the Rockies, are worth a look. Hit up Highway 99 northbound if you're ever there, and go have a look-see (and do some skiing in Whistler if you like skiing, too )

I want to travel across Canada one day...

yeah, it took him about 25 minutes to bring the fish into the boat. he would get it almost to the surface, and then it would swim down again really fast. it was so cool though
