Peter Safranyos - Release Emotion

hey guys,

i'm back again now with my newest boring track, i started to producing
it tonight, and this is the result i came up so far, really not much, only a main part yet. Anyway, the track will be featured on my forthcoming EP (Release Emotion / Mayflower), i hope i can finish it in a few days. Some of the strings will be changed i think, since i used the same ones in Mayflower aswell (with very different notes of course, maybe a few of you remember this track yet), so it just a small sample of my track, needs some effects for some places, but you will get the idea about the sound i going for

here is the link

forget about eqing since i didnt have time working on it, really

comments, good or bad are always appreciated!

thank you everyone,

Peter

beautiful as always

Hi there m8.

Bassline reminded me of Cloudland. Some other parts too hehe. I feel like there needs to be more elements in there. Or it's the levels. The lead arp are too loud for my feeling. Vox pad is sweet and the safranyos lead string too

Mint stuff, but needs work imo .....

trance at his best a bit similar to myflower wchih i really love, gonna be great ep which label will release it?

Posted by eulerfx on Jul-12-2005 00:09:

- nice, full synths!
- when the kick comes in after the break, there doesn't seem to be a proper build toward it and so it doesn't have the strongest impact that it can, but i'm sure you're gonne tweak that as you go along...
- overall, this seems like a great, set stage for a good trancer, but i really think you need a strong lead here, with the elements you already have here as background, or pre and after parts.

Hey man,
Loved the airy pads, in overall is going awsome man as always .
Kop =o.

Sounds neat so far, like those choirs! :-)

I do hear some very small clippings at the start, the overall volume might be a tad too loud. Pluck sounds very nice, but somehow it feels like it's not completely following the other melodic elements... I don't think it's out of key, just feels that way to me.

Eulerfx is right about the climax I think, it needs more tension. And maybe something to stand out from the mix

Greetz,
Wim

hey mate
i love the nickson pads
synths is great!
perc is a little soft
bassline is ok.. needs a little more power maybe
anyway, the quality of your production are better than your previous productions, keep it up!

cheers

Sounds really great. I miss the FX that I mostly hear in your tracks. The Melody sounds a bit too random imo but it's really nice. I think this track will fit nicely with mayflower.

Posted by Takkra on Jul-12-2005 10:44:

sounds beautiful put together everything fits eachother very well
I have to agree with some about the percs.. theyre a bit soft..
and I also dont know about the clap.. I dont know its not what I would like to hear.. thats just my opinion
awesome pad-work there m8 looking forward to full version!

Hmm... Indeed it's nice, but your last 3 or 4 productions has the same basschanges, same sounds and everything!! I like your style, but you have to try experimenting with some other basschanges, heh..

The sound is good though. I'm glad you've developed such clean and smooth sound! I remember you had difficulties with that earlier!

Eh... As far as I know, the title 'Release Emotions' was taken by Max Holod (aka Fractal Structure)(don't tell me you didn't know )
Well ok.. here it's not emotionS but emotion... heh.. anyway, before naming a tune you'd better check first if the same (or very similar) title isn't taken yet

Posted by staticblue on Jul-12-2005 13:09:

Liquid8,

nobody really cares about names anymore. Armin used the name serenity, and serenity had already been used many times before.

what about commenting about the track instead ?

didn't like it, sorry

BTW, about the titles... Armin's name is big enough to use the title that is already taken

That's bull. There are tons of reused tracknames in this scene and there's no such thing as rights on track titles.

It's of course better to chose an unexisting name for uniqueness' sake.

i like the melody, quite emotional. good sounds as well.. except maybe for that pad/string, which sounds a bit hollow and cold. i noticed the clipping in the beginning as well.

overall, this is very good

very nice and emotional tune.

Sounds like from an ASOT episode. Smimilar buildups, synths and structures. Nothing special in this tune, but solid enough to fit very well in a standard trance set.

Good mixdown and fitting choice of synth sounds.

Since I like the ASOT still I hope to hear more from you...

Posted by Mycron on Jul-13-2005 15:36:

thank you everyone, who listened to the sample, and replied about the track

i will definitely spend some more time working on the track, will add some new elements, to make it better,

cheers,

Peter

really amazing melodies as always, totaly rocks...
kick is little weak, and equing on other sounds will do a trick, try to cut everything below 200hz on those lovely synths and also cut some mid freq. on them... equing will make this tune hit

Posted by PDM on Jul-14-2005 05:50:

It sounds solid like rock!! what I don't like is the fact that it sounds so ASOTish

Nice work, keep it up.

I just love all Peter's tracks! My favorite one is "Mayflower" and also this new track "Release Emotion" is amazing! This will be a fantastic release (Mayflower/Release Emotion)! For me he is the most talented "coming soon" producer near Six Senses, Bren-F, Samuelzone... All his tracks are always reminding me on Robert Nickson, but i love them anyway! I'm realy looking forward for his music carrer and to playing his great tracks! Continue so, Pete!

not a big fan of the plucks... perhaps the delay could be set to a different time like 3/4 so it bounces off better. THe overall mastering sounds weird... ther is no punch in this mix... also those plucks can start to get annoying after awhile... they dont need to be so upfront in the mix IMO... they're not a main lead so they dont' need to be in the front.
