if i want to just mess around for fun nothing serious, is FL Studio good to use ot make some sort of EDM? or are there better programs? thankz.

Fl is probably one of the best programs you can get, but if your looking for something to mess around with you can try fl or reason as the learning curve in these two programs aren't as tough as some of the others out there.

hey Paull, yep I am here

I agree with you on that one, if you're starting out FL Studio is, in my opinion, the most solid choice you could make as later on it has the potential to serve as a very good sequencer. That being said, personal taste is a huge factor involved so if you really can't stand not being in a linear sequencer, FL may not be for you, but for starting out theres nothing I'd recommend more.

project5 version 2 is also a very good starting point. seems to be overlooked at times.

FL is one of the most user friendly, great for beginners and great to learn and use even if you're a professional. Just depends on how you use it.

I agree. I use Sonar 6 studio and not to many use this platform to make EDM. It's all on how you use it.

FL is beginner-friendly... and it's capable of being taken far. The flexibility of FLStudio is vast, and you may end up embracing it indefinately.

The fact that FLStudio is flexible enough to incorperate VST technology is enough to sell you on the fact that it is an expandable investment.
