Software help

I am new to the producing scene, I have been listening to trance for a while and I wanted to start making my own samples for fun. I have FL studio 6, and it's ok. I was just wondering what other software programs there are that are better than fl studio. Thanks for the help !

Do a search in the "MUSIC PRODUCTION" forum. (As opposed to the "DJ BOOTH" forum, which is where you are now.)
