Sounds like you just need to spend a little more time on the decks to reach that next level of dj'ing. You have a solid tracklist, track 3 is sublimely beautiful, track 8 is a superb blend of melodic guitar and club trance, and track 11 I already love to death. You have a good mix of different styles of trance, but they're kind of jumbled around. For instance, I would have played track 6 right after track 3, and then track 4 before or after track 8.

Good job keeping the entire flow of the mix going from lighter to darker. Your transition from track 11 to track 12 is simply perfect. If you find out how to combine every song like that one, you'll be mixing some massive sets. Try using some older tracks in with your set, it'll give you a little more flexibility when selecting tracks that go well together. Keep up the good work!

Some really nice tracks in this mix, but as said before they don't seem to be in the right order (the JPL track is the best example, it should have been somewhere at the beginning of your set). Keep on working on the flow of the mix, so that you don't waste energy in the transitions. EQing was good in most cases and beat-matching is also pretty good. Transition between 6 and 7 is a bit messed up though, while transition from 11 to 12 sounds very good.

what happened at 34:14? the one song just seems to cut out really quick.

At 39:25 the beat matching is off slightly.

How did you mix this set?

i mixed it just with 2 cd player

at the one crossover the cd jumped to the track that was before so it don�t matched ...

hey mate, gonna check this out now, i wanna see what these peeps are talking about, dont listen to some people, they just either a like to hate on other djs, or b they dont know what there talking about,cause you gotta take into consideration alot of djs, have there own way of mixing or going about things, you need to find what best suits you and what your comfortable with,

activ8 is a good guy so i trust his judgement,

i will leave you an honest opinion, when its done downloading

another reason why you may not get replies is, ive found on this site, people dont like to download from those kinda sites, they would rather it stream right away, cause sometimes there comp is to slow and would take for ever to download it so,

you best option is to find somewhere or someone that would be willing to stream it for you

The track selection from 1-5 is good, I like it!! The beat matching needs sorting out though, and try to start the entering tracks a bit sooner.

From 6-7 there's problem.....how did you go from a 138 BPM track, down to a 134 BPM track?

10-12 is a good track selection too, just practice beat matching more.

JPL - Your Whole Life, as said above, should have been played earlier in the set.

14-17 is your best mixing in the set, but this time your tracklisting is even better. From 14-16 the mixing was spot on, but you lost the beats again on 3rd Moom - DNA.
