hey all i was wondering if someone knew of any other drum patterns other than
k---k---k---k--- or k---k---k---k-k-, even any rock drum loops, midi files would be an advantage

Are you serious?

There are as many patterns as there are composers. Experiment.

guys, what we really need to see is more tuts like Mr. Mystery's, because he shows you the step-by-step transformation of the beat. That honestly helped me more than anything else with drums on this forum. Prior to that, i never guessed that there would be so much involved if i were just to hear the full beat.
