website hosts??

what does everyone use for web hosting if you have your own personal site and why?

Posted by JohnnyMonsoon on Sep-02-2007 18:46:

www.johnnymonsoon.com is my site

i use www.powweb.com and they have been amazing!
I think I've used them for 5 years now and I have never had any major issues, downtimes, etc. etc. They give you plenty of bandwidth, although I did get shut down 3 times for going over but that was before they upped it to 3000 gigs/month.

This link shows all that plan provides:
http://www.powweb.com/powweb/hosting.bml

Billing has always been easy and customer service rocked too. I give them a huge thumbs up!

thanks
still has tons of work to go.
I've wanted to add a bunch of stuff but have been too busy to spend any time with it. I want to make sure the photo gallery (www.johnnymonsoon.com/gallery) is more prominent. Tons of people love looking at pics and I need to make sure they can access the gallery easily.

Anyways, back on track , powweb has done me good

I don't actually have a proper site but I'm trying to find the time to make one.I use a box which is over in Texas for my mixes, my work gave it to me - runs pretty well, on a 100/m bit connection too

The site DOES look good man nice work! And I agree with your hosting suggestion as I use Powweb myself and have for the past 2 years. I dont have much of a site yet, just mixes for download, www.blackvortex.com

Powweb = highly recommended
